I do agree that the title is a bit too long but the story is interesting enough for children. Thank you for your review.

I like that the location of the book is a very old-fashioned place where traditional and community values are still respected. I like that James c Wright’s writing style is clear and descriptive. Reading recommendation.

A nice detective story book
"The Adventures of sweet Pickles mcgillicuddy The mystery of the disappearing ruby ear ring" by James c Wright, which revolves around an aspiring detective, Jennifer, who is trying to find missing Ruby ring. A lovely book.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

I think this review was spot on. Pickles seems to be a respectful, fun loving but intelligent girl who is basking in the warmth of a loving home, loyal pets and great friends. The story seems to be set in simpler times and though it is aimed for a younger audience it will certainly trigger the happy childhood memories of adult readers, like myself. I would definitely love to read the rest of the book. Pickles strikes me as a would be detective to be reckoned with. Her maturity displayed in just the few pages read leads me to believe that she is analytical and thorough in what she does.

In addition to thirteen-year-old Pickles McGillicuddy and her lifelong friend, Deardra Garcia, the town is filled with many other memorable characters.
From the snippets of information about other characters it seems they add more humour to this lighthearted book. Congratulations on BOTD. I enjoyed reading your enthusiastic and comprehensive review. Thank you.

I am a little confused about the dog on the cover. Did the dog possibly swallow the ruby earring? Congratulations on book of the day!

This is seems like a fitting book for kids who seem to have an interest in mystery novels. However, it's not something I would enjoy.

This book seems wonderful. It feels like a younger version of The Hardy Boys or Nancy Drew. I love that it was set in a small town. It gives this book the kind of family vibe you'd only see in a small town where everyone knows everyone. It seems perfect for children.

I find this review to be really informative and useful, so kudos for that!

However, the story itself sounds bland, like it doesn't have conflict. Characters and facts are just thrown at the reader for the sake of it.

Even being a story for children, I don't think this review really entices others to read the book.

Anyway, I'm sorry for the negative comment, just giving you my honest thoughts! Thanks so much for the review :)

This book made me to reminisce on sweet memories of my teenage age. I could relate to Prickle's love for reading. Sounds like a great adventure story that will entertain readers. Congrats on the BOTD.
