A book with suspense and about medicine is something to read about. Am curious to know the kind of trouble that Dr. Nolan encountered. I will read this book to clear my curiosity. Amazing review.

This novel seems to be full of suspense, mystery, thrillers, and puzzles to solve. I liked how the protagonist was grounded by his family members and his loved ones, was kept on the right side of the law by the sheriff, and received help from his colleagues and friends to solve the mystery. I appreciate the author not making him the solo hero of the book but introducing him as a regular person reaching his goal with the aid of those around him, making him more realistic and relatable. Your analysis of the book is outstanding. You did an amazing job!

I love books with suspense, as it leaves me on my toes wanting to know what will happen next. As Dr. Nolan had friends who assisted him in solving the mystery of the cause of death of one of his patients, which he suspected wasn't an accident, he should be able to solve his mystery faster.

I usually try to avoid anything related to medicine, bad personal experiences, you understand, but when I came across this book, I couldn't help myself. This medical thriller wad so highly recommended and praised on all counts, starting with action picking right away, crime plot, characters interaction - everything was just as promised and I enjoyed reading it a great deal! Congrats on BOTD!

The question that lies here is; what harm is Dr. Nolan putting himself in following up on this investigation? Could he possibly solve the mystery behind this case? I see a lot of suspense in this novel, I think this would be a good novel for leisure time reading.

Solving mysteries is never easy. Sometimes, it can lead to the opening of a can of worms or pandora's box. I like to see how Sean investigates the case in this story.

Many suspense books don't catch readers' attention at the beginning of the story. But as per your review Contrived" by E.W. Johnson M.D. takes us deep from the beginning, a very interesting aspect. Good review!

I love a well-written murder mystery and Dr. Nolan sounds like the perfect protagonist. I like that the author has put a bit of a twist with him being a medical Dr. Great review!!

Thank you for your review. I love medical mysteries! The storyline reminds me of authors such as Robin Cook, Tess Gerritsen, and a host of others. I'm also happy to find out that this book is part of a series and I'll be certain to track down the other volumes.
