What an interesting concept for a book! I have never read this kind of historical thriller before, but it sounds fascinating. I can't get over how creative this plot sounds, it hits so many points of what I'm interested in in books! Great review, congrats on BOTD!

Jack is a relatable character in the BOTD. So many people make big plans for their lives and it only takes a few seconds to derail those. Then to have to settle for a job that just pays the bills is even harder to deal with. Good review.

Wow, Jack's life went from boring to suspenseful in a hurry! I cannot imagine finding a box of diamonds on a train. I wonder what Jack does with them and if he can escape the Chicago mob. The book review was filled with lots of details and high praise for the book. Congratulations on your first book, Jefferson Thomas!

This sounds like a very interesting action thriller. I feel like you gave a bit of a spoiler away by mentioning Bev's death in the review, though. Just my opinion, but I would have rather not known that major plot twist from the review.

If it was me who had found the diamonds I wouldn't take them because, they would definitely cause me trouble later. Or if I was to take them I would move to another country. The review is awesome, big up to you. Thank you for your good review

I understand that feeling that got to Jack because of the insatisfaction he was getting from his job because it wasn't his passion. Congrats on being the BOTD.

This fiction book has a crime narrative that follows a set of characters, including Jack and Bev who find a box containing diamonds under their train seat one day. I wonder how this story ends as it also contains mafia from Chicago and other interesting characters. Congrats on the BOTD!

Can't say that - meeting a young woman on the train which will draw him into a world of trouble - is anywhere original plot, saw numerous scenarios, read lots of books, and yet won't be able to stop myself from reading another variation. Especially, one generously gifted and having stellar reviews from everyone!

Devil's Ice is an action-packed thriller novel authored by Jefferson Thomas. The story revolves around Jack Trenton, who is faced with difficulties after accidentally picking up diamonds that belong to a notorious Chicago crime boss. Love this book and I cant get enough of it.

At the center of the plot of the book "Devil's Ice" by Jefferson Thomas is Jack. Fate will smile on Jack when he picks up diamonds that belong to crime boss Benny. The book is fast-paced with plenty of suspense and twists.

The plot of Devil's Ice sounds very thrilling! I am eager to read how Jack gets himself out of this mess. It pains me to know that he lost Bev to someone else's greed. Thank you for the comprehensive review, and congrats on the BOTD!

Thanks for the nice review as it talks about the aspects of this action-suspense book. It was a very helpful guide to know which part of the book should a reader look out for. From reading the review, I am hooked to know which side had won but I am rooting for the main character, Jack. This kind of book should best appeal to action and suspense book enthusiasts.
