Absent debilitating illnesses, the mind never really gets old. "Easy Marks" by Dennis Walsh will serve as an elixir for senior citizens who are willing to read it. Life can truly be amazing at old age, provided that you are in good company and have the right mentality. I commend the author for sensitizing the elderly on the scourge of online scams; this will make these senior citizens less vulnerable to the antics of these scammers.

Who doesn't want to read a book about love, adventure, and crime fighting about people at age 70? This story reminds me that although age brings with it some limitations, the mind is always young and free to walk new paths even at age 70 or older.

This book exhorts senior citizens to pursue their goals with perseverance. It's never too late to go after your goals, but you need to watch out for people who would take advantage of your senior status. Congrats on BOTD.

Who says life can't start at 70? Who says that old age can't bring more fun and love than youth? Salvatore, shortened to Sal, is a clear example that life can get better after active work retirement.

Sal is the son of an Italian immigrant to the USA. His parents own a restaurant in Boston, which they handed over to him and his sister after retirement. Following in his parents' footsteps, he retired from the business after 25 years, leaving its management to his sister Sophia. He decided to travel down to Florida to enjoy life after retirement. Unknown to him, this decision would be the path to that which he couldn't achieve when he was younger. In Florida, he met Mona at a swimming pool, and the relationship that started as a friendship ended up giving birth to Senior Recovery Services (SRS), an association of like-minded individuals that helps defrauded senior citizens get their money back. Read this book to know how SRS operates and how life began for Sal as a septuagenarian.

I salute Dennis Walsh for the wisdom he used in writing Easy Marks. Older people are an easy target for fraudsters because many are lonely and not up to date with the trends in technology. I like how the author was able to write a story on this issue, creating awareness of the gimmick the fraudsters use and how to outsmart them.

While reading the first chapter of the book, I had a mental picture of what the story might be about, but the story took an entirely different turn from what I had imagined in chapter two. The author is a good storyteller and introduces the characters lovingly. Mona is my favourite character in the book. I like how she enjoyed and was living her life even at sixty- four years. The way she shoots her shot at Sal is a course to be studied (lols). I enjoyed reading about how their relationship blossomed and what they were able to achieve with SRS.

There is nothing I dislike about the book. The story is an easy read that keeps you attached to the book, eager to discover what will happen next. From the first to the last chapter, the author switched from romance to action to culture and food styles. The Italian foods mentioned are mouth-watering, and I hope to try them one day.

This book deserves nothing less than a perfect rating of 5 out of 5 stars because it was professionally edited. There is no reason to deny it a perfect rating; everything about it speaks of perfection.

I recommend this book to senior citizens, tech gurus, adults, and young adults who enjoy reading fiction stories about love, adventure, and crime fighting.

This book debunks the misconception that elderly years are not golden years. There is a lot going on in Sal's life. I am interested to see what happens next in the story. Oh, and yes, more Italian food. Yum yum. I cannot wait to give this unique book a read. Congratulations on winning Book of the Day!
I write the best reviews possible. :idea2:

A wonderful review. Thank you.
" Easy Marks" by Dennis Walsh sounds incredible as it deals with a relatively common predicament older people face.
This book reminds us and the older generation that life is certainly what you make of it, irrespective of age.
This book also raises awareness of how older people are easy targets for fraud, equipping the reader with an approach to evading being an easy target.
Congratulations on BOTD!

There are a lot of factors that draw me to this book. The character's name Salvatore was one of them. I also loved the concept the book presents that life can get better after active work retirement.
