Given the state of the world today, a bioterrorism-related medical thriller may be quite plausible. The science portion is credible because the author is an immunology expert, which heightens the realism. Congrats on BOTD.

Thank you for such an insightful review of Particles in the Air! I appreciate how you highlighted the author’s expertise in immunology, which adds authenticity to the plot. It’s fascinating that the story is told from multiple perspectives, including the antagonist’s, offering a deeper look into the motivations of the characters. Your mention of the tension and suspense building throughout the novel really piqued my interest. In today’s world, where we’ve experienced a pandemic firsthand, it sounds like this book would hit close to home while keeping readers on the edge of their seats. I'm especially curious about how Dr. Mallory Hayes races against time to identify the virus. Thanks again for the thorough review; I’m excited to check this one out!

I believe that bioterrorism is an act of wickedness and perpetrators should be treated as criminals. Precious lives are always at risk mortality; COVID-19 remains a good footnote. This book, nevertheless, is a master class and the review is excellent!

It will be my first time to interact with a scientific fiction genre in the last 2 months. I will consider reading Particles in the Air by Jenna Podjasek, MD, to have yet another refreshing feel of this genre. I hope I will enjoy it.

Thank you for the beautiful review. This is a gripping medical thriller! I love that each chapter is told from a different character; it's such a great way to showcase different perspectives. The author is an MD, which adds a dash of realism to the book.

Great review! Bioterrorism is a scary part of life now. This event or something similar could be in process and we are just unaware. I am not sure if I will read this book or not. I did enjoy your review and the sample on Amazon, but I have had enough of pandemics for a while. Great review just the same.

From the sample I have read, this medical thriller is a book that not only brings to light realistic science but also delves into everyday human behavior. I like that the plot is fast paced and keeps the reader eager for more. Good work on the review, I hope to read the rest of it.

'Particles in the Air' does sound like an excellent bio-terrorism thriller. The characters are well-developed, and the story engages. What attracts me most is the unleashing of a new virus in the United States and how this is fought by Dr Hayes and her team. Will they figure all of this out before it becomes a pandemic?

Particles In The Air was and intense and gripping novel to read. Pace of the read was fast so you didn’t get a lot of meaningless storyline. The scientific authenticity mixed with the multiple perspectives of all of those involved made the book that much more captivating and hard to put down.

Bioterrorism can be a disastrous means of violence. Making this book revolve around it with a cast of developed characters gives this novel its distinctive feature. I only wonder how the whole global problem would be resolved in the end.
As long as there is a concept of victors, the vanquished will always exist.
