Greg Vigdor's novel, "The COVID Murders: Another American Health Policy Detective Story," begins with the sudden death of a prominent attorney named Thomas Baker in a Nashville hospital. The incident causes panic among the medical staff, including Dr. Amaril, the anesthesiologist, and Dr. Sanders, a surgical resident. Despite their efforts, the patient does not survive, and it is suspected that the anesthesia medication might have played a role in his untimely demise.

Alex Morgan shines as the determined protagonist, carrying the weight of the investigation while dealing with her own personal challenges. Her vulnerability and resilience make her a compelling lead, and readers will find themselves rooting for her throughout the book. This read is a page-turning, suspenseful thriller. This novel is a must-read for fans of mystery, detective and murder readers and anyone looking for a captivating tale that reflects the unprecedented times we live in.
Personally, I believe COVID 19 will always have mysteries about it as it continues to go on even today in our highly knowledgeable, scientific world.

The book seems interesting and exciting. I wonder whether Jason Stroud manages to solve that attorney's sudden death. Besides it will be interesting to find out more about American health policy and politics and compare it with the health policy in my country. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

The Covid pandemic had an enormous influence on the world, in terms of financial impact but also grief and trauma for people losing loved ones or contracting the disease. As the book is called "The Covid Murders", I'm interested to see how the death of a prominent lawyer relates to the Covid pandemic. I love thrillers and I'm sure I will enjoy reading this book. Thank you for the insightful review.

This is definitely a read for me as it ticks all the boxes. A medical drama in the COVID period, crime and suspense and the dreaded part of what the Government's part is in all this could be. There is so many details that came to light after the pandemic in 2020 and some were false and some true. Although this is just fiction, I'm a firm believer that most of the info is true. Thanks for a wonderful and enthusiastic review. Congrats on BOTD.

In this fictional medical detective story, the narrative centers around a mysterious death in a hospital in suburban Nashville, Tennessee. Through the lens of this intriguing plotline, Vigdor delves into the complexities of American health policy, weaving together elements of mystery, suspense, and political intrigue.

I like murder mysteries, and I would probably enjoy this book. However, naming it Covid Murders sounds very misleading. I wish some other name would be chosen, but it is probably so that the book sounds more appealing. Congratulations on BOTD, and best wishes for future projects.

Many countries used this worldwide illness to their advantage, with the USA being one of them. While hard to do, standing up for what is good for the general public is a necessity. Thanks for the review!
