Lara is not yet pregnant, but the couple is eager to start a family. The doctor recommended they take a break from their demanding schedules and stressful jobs.
- It's intriguing to know if they would heed the doctor's recommendation. I've always been a Jack Winnick fan and therefore make time to read this aswell. A top of the class review. Thank you.

Despite the high rating this book received from the OBC review, the terrorist theme and violence in it don't appeal to me, so I'll skip this one. Congratulations on BOTD!

So much for a break. I’m sure that Lara and URI’s idea of taking it easy is way different from that of the FBI. Congratulations on BOTD!

It seems Lara and Uri can't catch a break. I wonder if they will ever be able to start their family with all of the terrorist attacks that keep occurring. Thanks for the review!

Jack's twist on terrorism in "Waterworks" is a thought-provoking departure from the conventional methods. Shifting the focus from traditional bombings to the poisoning of a water system introduces a chilling perspective on the varied tactics terrorists might employ.

I agree that poisoning a city's water source is a direct means of annihilating them. I love crime thrillers and I certainly look forward to reading about how Lars and her husband Uri tackle this. Thanks for this beautiful review.

Books on terrorism are not really my cup of tea but I do love the aspect of this couple trying to have a family despite the challenges they face with their jobs. Congratulations on winning BOTD!

I agree with all points in your fantastic review. I, too, like Jack Winnick's fast pace and the balance he strikes between Lara and Uri's world-saving missions and private life. I also felt that this book was perfect standalone yet it intrigued to explore other books in the series. Like you, I would award your perfect rating of five out of five stars to this book.

The Lara and Uri series of novels is a terrific collection of books for anyone who enjoys international intrigue, the machinations of the world of spies and counterspies, and good old-fashioned cops and robbers. Now a married couple, the empathy and deep love that Lara and Uri have for one another are amplified when each of them, while placed in harm's way, must concentrate on the job at hand, uncertain of the success or danger faced by the other. Good stuff!

This looks like a good book for people who are into spy stories and thrillers mixed with terrorism and romance. The way the author writes is so descriptive and easy to understand and makes the reader stay on the edge of their seat.

Thrilling and timely! Winnick's Waterworks dives deep into the horror of water supply threats, blending science, history, and urgency seamlessly.

The book sounds interesting and as exciting as the previous ones about Lara and Uri, full of events and fast paced enough to make the person read the book in one sitting. Lara und Uri are always ready to fight terrorism, defend their country and even sacrifice their long awaited and well deserved rest. Still books about terrorism are not exactly my cup of tea. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!
