This thriller sounds exciting and intense. Usually I'm not a big fan of books that have unnatural dialogue, but considering that this book seems very suspenseful I feel like I would be to on the edge of my seat to let it impact me. It seems to me that this book is worth checking out. Congrats on BOTD!

I agree with you. One-dimensional characters are a pet peeve of mine, too. I love a good thriller! I hope the author considers your comment about dialogues for their next novel. Thank you!

I was intrigued by the book’s synopsis and this review clinched it for me. I am excited to branch out from my usual genres and read this thriller, which also seems to weave in topics I am very interested in. I take note of the writing style so that it won’t bring me back when I find myself deep into the story.

Catching title and quite interesting premise, through I have always liked C/T/M/H as a multi-genre, because it offers complex stories and this one relating the tale of a strong woman trying to stand up for herself and start a new life from scratch sounds very intriguing and inspiring as well. Thanks for the recommendation and congrats on BOTD!

Hi, you did a fair review of this book. I hope the author will consider your comments to improve the flow of the dialogue and the editing errors. It sounds like this book is interesting enough to read as is. The plot has me intrigued. :techie-studyinggray:

It is too bad the characters were not what you expected. However, I do like the suspenseful nature of the book regarding Jeannie's attempt to start a new life away from her abusive husband. Thanks for the review!

Your review gives such a vivid glimpse into 'See Me: A Jeannie Johal Thriller'! The premise sounds gripping—I love stories with unexpected twists. It's great that despite some hiccups in the writing style, the depth of the characters kept you engaged. Your review piqued my curiosity about the storyline's complexity and the suspenseful narrative. Thanks for sharing your thoughts; I might give this book a read for its thrilling elements!

The book sounds really interesting. Jeannie Johal wanted her second chance at a happy life but it turned out she just jumped out of the frying pan into the fire and her life is in danger once again. I also got intrigued by the words in the description that this book is a "thriller that reaches into humanity's darkest crevices". I would like to figure that out. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Six months ago Jeannie Johal faked her death and fled Mumbai to get away from her controlling and abusive husband.
- A very interesting concept, but it was from the frying pan into the fire, in the end. I like how it has been balanced out by saying although jerky and unsmooth dialogue was present, it was a thrilling storyline. Thank you for an engaging review.

"See Me: A Jeannie Johal Thriller is a fast-paced and engaging read that examines the complexities of identity and the lengths people will go to for a fresh start. The author's insight into the medical and investigative fields adds an element of realism to the story, while Jeannie's character is multifaceted and relatable.

This sounds like just the read for me as I love thrillers. I can't wait to see what truths Jeannie unravel. I also like the fact that she uses the hospital that were blown up as a way to escape her abusive husband. Thanks for a great review.
