Despite living with guilt, Emma seems resilient and has chosen to fight no matter what. Her cousin might have been involved in the accident, though. I appreciate your review and the presentation of the book. This is an excellent recommendation.

Drawn from life, a novel by Sarah P. Blanchard tells us the story of Emma and Lucy, who are cousins and other than that, they are completely different. The first part of the book shows us the dynamics of their relationship, where Lucy the artist, is strong-willed to the point of being cruel to Emma, that shows herself like the eternal diplomat, not facing conflict even when her inner talk tells other way. Part of the reason they are together is being away from home and have no other siblings to reach for.
The plot makes a twist due to an accident, which both survive, but Emma suffers injuries than ten years later still take their toll. Both main characters reunite again, but this time Emma decides to confront her past and really know what happened that day.

This book sounds like a gripping psychological thriller. Emma's struggle with guilt and her quest for truth add depth to the narrative. The exploration of trauma and its long-lasting effects makes this story even more compelling. Congrats!

It's sad that Emma feels responsible for the accident when she can't even remember what happened. I wonder what actually happened. I love the C/T/M/H genre, so I'll check this book out.

This is a very well-written and enticing review. I am an avid reader of psychological thrillers and mysteries so after reading the sample and the review, I am apt to add it to my shelf. I also enjoy reader about strong female protagonists overcoming adversity and the characterization of Emma fits the bill.

"Drawn from Life" is one of those psychological thrillers that can be turned into a movie. I cannot wait to get my hands on this read to find out what has truly happened eight years ago. Congrats to the author for having the BOTD.

With the help of her cousin Lucy, guilt-stricken Emma tries to find out the cause of an accident that claimed three lives. Emma has no memories of the accident, and she is the sole survivor. She decides to face her psychological trauma and get to the end of the truth. Someone is out to get Emma. This suspenseful thriller, with a mix of emotions, makes for an interesting read. That was a wholesome review!

It is sad that Emma had to leave with the guilt of the death and unluckily she doesn't remember somethings. This plot is very interesting and I would obviously read this.

I wonder if the situation described in this book can be classified as some form of survivor's guilt. It is an interesting twist to quite known affliction and, as a fan of psychological thrillers, I am certainly not going to miss the opportunity to learn new aspects of it. Thanks for recommendation and congrats with BOTD!

I can imagine how she'll be feeling, not remembering what happened but still feeling guilt that she’s the cause of what took people's lives.
