The story book sounds very interesting were the main character is left with one option to choose between family or money.
Thanks for the review.

A drug dealer's point of view? Don't think I've read a book with this POV before. Too bad about the editing and the superficial relationships, but I'm glad you were able to enjoy the other relationships and the overall story! Thank you for sharing!

This book sounds interesting and it gives a look into the criminal world. The way you described the ending as "unpredictable and powerful" makes me excited to check it out since I haven't heard many endings described as powerful. Great job on the review!

The review really draws me in and makes me interested to read this story and see where Rick's life takes him. I think seeing things from the drug dealer's perspective will make for a great story.

After reading the sample, I fully agree with your review. It does seem to be edited and it is written very well for a debut novel. I found the excerpt from the book to be intriguing and I immediately formed a bond with Rick. I was happy to note in your thorough summarization, the novel fulfills the promise of its first few pages. I loved your review; it is impressively well written and does the author justice.

This is a very interesting read!!I love how the opening instantly enthralls the reader, with an introduction to the main character, Rick Brown, as you walk with him through the prison gates and strategic planned growth through his incarceration. I enjoyed reading the review, it walks me back through my enjoyable preview from when I first read it.

Though sporadic in its transition, dramatic captivation is still present with and underlying emotional display, that shows the character's love for his daughter in the beginning.

Simplicity in Green's literal style makes for an enjoyable read, making it impossible to put the book down without holding your breath!! You're review is amazing!! Agreed 4 out of 4 from what I have read so far.

I will definitely finish this.
I know tons of people who will enjoy it too.

I cannot imagine liking a drug dealer. Thus, I am quite intrigued that you found him likable. I hope the ending finds him reformed though.

The premise of the novel is very interesting to me because I do not know a lot when it comes to the drug dealing world. The only information that I have gleaned is from National Geographic shows about the topic. My favorite part is the constant theme of walking a fine line between being a moral upstanding citizen and making fast money. I like that the story is set in DC because that is major hub for drug dealing, but not as prominent as Los Angeles or other west coast cities.

I concur with you on the first person narration from Rick's perspective. I read the sample and really enjoyed the flow. Quite an interesting story by Charlie Green. Thank you for such a great review.

Interesting... I haven't watched Breaking Bad but it seems like it follows along that line? Maybe not cuz Rick was always a "Bad Guy" while the guy from Breaking Bad was a teacher? or something... anyways, the review made it sound waaay more interesting than the Amazon description! LOL Authors need to switch up their ho-hum descriptions when they came across a review that makes people want to read their books! ;) Good Job!

Very interesting. It is not the first book about drug dealers and the mafia world that I read, but definitely it is the most intriguing and the most detailed. Thank you for the review.

Thanks for the review. It's a good choice for the book title. WEAKNESS. We all have weaknesses, and not everyone has the strength to resist temptations of the surrounding world. In order to quickly gain something good, we give in to our weaknesses not thinking about the consequences at first. This book seems to have a rather interesting plot.
