The cover of Prism of Her Soul already gives off a mixed genre vibe. The blue eyes look surreal and unsettling. Why did the man report the crime about the blood-covered woman? Where do Kate's nightmares come from? This BoTD has hooked me in!

Well, this is my first of what I hope to be many review responses. I found out about this website a long time ago and I never really allowed myself to explore it. Something told me to explore it now. And I am very glad I did.

The first book that came to me was this very book by Rob Dixon. I am going to read it shortly after I post this response. I downloaded the Amazon Kindle book and am excited to read it based off of the reviews.

From what it sounds like, it almost reminds me of the show ‘YOU’ and I am already extremely excited to get my mind wrapped up in this book.

I mean, come on, themes of murder and secret lives, a rich girl doing things she absolutely cannot have getting out and sullying her name? Okay, can you say, “sold!”?

I do not believe I have read anything by Rob Dixon yet, but this read is obviously a hit. And just from the first couple of sentences I read when I opened the digital book has me in a chokehold. The call to the police operator, the suspense in just those beginning lines—okay, I have to read this. I usually am not sold by anyone on any book. I have to read all about the book prior to reading it in total—in order to feel out if I really want to put in that time to read it. But this review gave me a sense of “golden letters” on a darkly colored book with an aura of “don’t read me” and I absolutely must read and review this book.

Gosh, this is so wild to me that I am actually sold on reading a book off of ONE review! I will be back in a while to advise my little review on the great book. Thank you for reading this far! See you soon!

Prism of Her Soul seems like a great novel. The book has a captivating plot that seems original and very entertaining. I like that the story has an element of unpredictability to it. It makes reading the book more exciting. I'm curious about Kate's storyline and what happens to her in the book.

This book seems to touch on many plotlines. This means it's going to appeal to a wide range of readers. Starting the story with an emergency call about murder is an adrenaline-charged way to begin. I can't wait to get into the story.

I am wondering what Kate's vivid nightmares are all about and why she is really scared. The fact that the book cannot be boxed into one genre/category piques my curiosity, and hence I have added it to my want-to-read shelf. I look forward to reading it and discovering much more about Kate and her nightmares.
Many thanks for the amazing review, @Kutloano Makhuvhela.

"Prism of Her Soul" by Rob Dixon is a horror, psychological thriller, paranormal, gothic, and human drama, set in London. Dixon shows how cruel human beings can be and how one’s past can reappear in unexpected ways leave them stupefied. The novel begins with a prologue where an unknown man calls an emergency help line to report a crime. He claims he is seeing a naked women covered in blood. The emergency responder asks for more details but he is unwilling to provide any additional information because he is up to no good himself. The first chapter introduces Kate as woman with nice life and no problems. Her mother Sarah was a free love hippie and her dad was a twin that was very close to his brother until they drifted apart when he fell in love with Sarah. She has her secret life including going to exclusive establishments and getting involved in activities that she would like to keep secret within the building. Then she suspects that she may be pregnant that must have resulted from a one-night stand. She takes a home pregnancy test and it is negative so she wonders why she is having explicit scary nightmares. This story will keep readers on the edge of their seats with every page revealing a shocker. Readers will second guess themselves when they are shocked on one page and the next page proves one wrong. Dixon wrote the book this way to pull the reader in and then shock them so that they continue reading until the last page. No spoiler here but the end of the story comes down like a heavy rainstorm. The end comes with an unexpected plot twist. The book was written for adults due to strong language and gory, disturbing scenes.

Wow! The review in itself is as interesting as the book sounds. I like how the suspense builds page by page. Surely seems like worth a read.

"Prism of Her Soul" by Rob Dixon seems interesting, and I’m curious to find out what happened to the woman covered in blood and what Kate will discover about herself.

What a review! I could already tell this book is a stunner, but your review threw out all doubts. I like that though it seemed Kate's life was perfect and to be envied, she had something to deal with, which teaches one to be content with their own life because you probably don't know what cross the person you're envying is carrying. I applaud the author's great talent in putting together this masterpiece.

This is a book that would interest many, it being "horror, psychological thriller, paranormal, gothic, and human drama." Kate's "interesting" life is about to get more interesting. Thanks for the review!

Everyone loves suspense and thrill. That's in the human nature that he is intrigued by the things he sees. "Prism of Her Soul" by "Rob Dixon" does a good job catching that attention from first page till the very end. The review itself is a best seller for the book, as it made me feel like I was already halfway into the story excited and eager to read the book.I’m sure anyone who enjoys a good thriller will feel the same.
