This book has a suspenseful plot that involves the need to bring criminals to justice for very serious crimes. The book deals with many issues that make you think but that are still quite predictable. In general terms, it is a good reading option. Good job #BOTD

From your review, this sounds like a compelling page-turner that keeps the readers hooked. I appreciate the author tackles an intense topic without being too graphic. I love mysteries, but I think it's too dark for me. Recommended for anyone who enjoys a good suspenseful thriller. Great review!

Jeremy, a determined police sergeant, is committed to bringing child abusers to justice. His involvement in a case involving a child, Julio, whose trauma is dismissed as regular childhood nightmares, becomes a personal crusade. Jeremy's investigation into Julio's plight impacts his family, career, and mental balance and draws the reader into a captivating narrative. Will he win the battle for Julio, his family, and himself? Congratulations on a captivating BOTD. Thanks for a comprehensive review.

This book sounds like it would be a good one to read if you are into crime mysteries. It's sad to know some parts are left dangling that could have been more detailed. I did download the book and look forward to reading it and finding out if the officer caught the abusers and if he was able to keep his family safe. Congrats on being chosen for BOTD.

A heavy topic that is tastefully approached without becoming overly graphic sounds something I would like reading. I am curious how a nightmare haunts the story as well.

The synopsis of this book is enough to make me intrigued. I am curipus how the story will end, and who is the real culprit in the end. Thanks for.the review.

I have mixed feelings picking up this book. It sounds kind of scary, and I'm a big scaredy-cat; I wonder if it'll be bad enough to give me nightmares. On the other hand, I do enjoy crime thrillers, and this one has an interesting premise. Also, it feels rather novel that this focuses on a child's experience; maybe it's just the books I usually read, but most crime thrillers I've come across have the investigator looking into something involving a woman who ends up being a love-interest. Maybe the child's mother will take that position? I don't want to assume too much, but this book sounds to be romance-less, so I'm interested in how the story-beats will go without that element.

An engaging crime and suspense novel is always a plus to me. The plot sounds thrilling and full of suspense. I'm curious to find out what really happened to Julio and if Porter can bring the guilty to justice. Thanks for a detailed review. Congrats on BOTD and thanks for the free book.

This book seems like an intense and gripping read! The deeper crime network and high-ranking involvement make the case even more challenging for Porter. I’d love to see how he navigates the risks to bring justice. Congrats on BOTD!

Sergeant Jeremy Porter is the hero in this book as he embarks on the noble mission of hunting down child abusers. I hope he didn't sacrifice much on Julio's matter. Congrats on BOTD. Beautiful review.

Sadly, we exist in a world of such crimes. I hope the fictional criminals are served justice—more strength to the people fighting.
