This seems like an engaging read. However, the author's penchant for violence puts me off.

Thank you for the detailed review.

Thanks for checking it out, nonetheless!

A supernatural thriller revolving around people born with supernatural abilities (alters) sounds exciting, albeit too violent for me. I am not fond of movies such as X-men, so I don't think it is for me. The premise does sound unique, and I agree it will make a great movie. It is good that it was well edited despite those minor errors. Thank you for the review!

Thank you for this great review! Sounds like a solid action book full of very interesting characters in development. I'm not a very big fan of the Marvel or DC worlds but the fans of the genre would definitely appreciate such read.

This sounds like a very fun, cinematic read! I do see a lot of similarities between this plot and the plots of X-men stories. I would love to see this book turn into a movie.

This book resembles Xmen. It stresses on magic. It seems fine to make the book a movie. Thanks for your review.

This really does sound like "X-men"... As much as I do enjoy this genre, I worry that recreating work that has come before will feel repetitive and cheesy, the way "Once Upon a Time" does in re-creating fairy tales. I think I might skip it. Thank you for your review.

An interesting supernatural thriller "Altered Reality" by Joel Knox, which is a story about people with alters, a kind of supernatural abilities. The story seems full of unexpected twists as a jigsaw puzzle along with extreme gore and violence.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

I love plots where you piece everything together yourself like a puzzle. Plus, the twists and turns would really keep me guessing. This sounds like a fabulous story with a great plot. I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. Thanks for introducing it to us!

Insightful review but am not a fan of CTMH genre. Am so picky when it comes to this kind of genre and so I don't think I will try out Altered Reality by Joel Knox.
