The plot sounds fascinating for adventure lovers. I like the fact the time period is well described so the reader doesn't have to stop and wonder if 'X' device existed at that time or not. Even though we read fiction, we want it to be believable. I think I can give this book a try.

A compact book packed with a venture, smuggling artifacts, and the British Secret Services. To see the world through George's eyes will be a dose of experience. Thank you for your review!

I also enjoyed the time period and setting of this book as well. I felt like I was really there. I can't wait to read more in the series.

Good review. I love books that are fast paced and easy to read in one sitting. I’m excited to read this and because it takes place during WWII I definitely will be reading it soon.

This book sounds great but not my style of reading. Really enjoyed reading your review, you gave great detail without too much information. Thanks for the review. :D :D

This sounds like a fantastic book series, I've always loved the Mission Impossible and James Bond type stories and that's what this reminds me of. I was surprised and disappointed that it's only 86 pages but looking forward to a quick read! Congrats on BOTD!

An amazing adventure book "The Mask of Perpetuity" by Martin Jones set in 1935, and which revolves around a treasured Chinese artifact, called as Mask of Perpetuity, while it was under British possession goes missing. George Melville helps a British Secret Services agent to return the lost mask. The story sounds quite interesting.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

This storyline revoke fond memories from my childhood, reminding me the great enjoyment I got experiencing "Indiana Jones" adventures. "National Treasure" was almost as good, but this book seems have lots of potential exceed it.

This genre is my favorite but I had a hard time getting into the first couple of chapters. I may have just been too distracted. Your review convinces me I should probably give it another chance. Good job!
