Hey Josh. Seems you speak American English? Found a hard time reading this book. Sorry for that. The author used British English. It is stated in the preface.

Such an interesting story. Am glad that Matthias Callaghan regained his memory back in this book.

I find the plot of this thriller exciting. However, I'm not sure whether I'll be able to handle the gruesome parts because learning about Callaghan's face and hands alone was hard for me to stomach.

I don't particularly enjoy reading stories with violence in it, so this is an immediate skip for me. Whenever the Mafia is mentioned, there's always torture involved. This book is best for readers who don't mind gore in mystery thrillers. Congratulations on the BOTD.

I love the way you presented your review. It is absolutely amazing with a great overview of the book. Thanks for it. Since this is the first book in the series, I'm not lae for it. I'm going to buy and read it.

I love the book . It has a captivating touch to it. The fact that calaghan plans to still go back to his old ways after what happened to him is surprising. Love the boom generally

I would be tempted to read this because of the incision of the Russian mafia. However, I can't help thinking that your issues with the grammar and the mutating narrative style might be recurrent in the septology. 😀

I love storyline of this book. It must have been terrible for Callaghan, waking up from a coma and not remembering anything at all.

The opening scene of this mystery thriller is definitely engrossing, and I'm curious to know more about what happened to Matthias.

I'm interested in finding out the writing style of the author and how it manages to capture the mystery that the protagonist is facing and how he deals with the revelation that he is a victim of mutilation. Congratulations to the author for BOTD!
