This sounds like a good read. However, I'm on the fence about reading this book because I've read the sample, and I wasn't comfortable with the amount of political undertones it had. I'll pass on this book.

I just read a sample of this book and I must say that I am intrigued. I'm curious if Vince and Trudi get a gun, as well as how the watch works. Congratulations on your BOTD victory.

Fascinating concept there and way of addressing current issues surrounding gun ownership in America and an aging senior population. The fact that many characters are likable makes me more likely to pick up this book and give it a read, even though I might not identify the most with the senior generation it follows. I am worried that it might just be too realistic/sad in its resemblance to actual recent events, but it does sound like things are handled in a sensitive manner.

I believe this would make an interesting read. Gun-ownership is a very debatable and confusing topic. Discussing that in addition to predicting death and being well-written is definitely a good thing.

This book's storyline is captivating. I've often wondered if it'll be nice to know when one's time is up. Although, it's fiction, I think it'll give the reader a hint on what it'll be like to know when one's time is up. Kudos to the author for putting together a great book.

The whole setup is very interesting. It is always surprising what facing difficult, life-threatening situations brings out of different people. And a final notice could definitely be considered a life-threatening situation! You mentioned that this book speaks out the author's opinion about gun ownership.I am not sure what to think of that myself, but if somebody is already on the verge of explosion, easy access to guns definitely won't make it better. I am looking forward reading how this story unfolds. Thank you for the interesting review!

One of the best reviews I have read here! Thank you for presenting the main theme, which is very interesting and...debatable. I have only read the sample but you convinced me to read the whole novel.

The premise of the book is quite fascinating. What would you do if you could wear a wrist device that could pinpoint the exact moment of your death or your “final notice?” Would you settle your accounts or touch base with loved ones? Or, as do many of the characters in the book, would you seek vengeance by murdering those who disrespected you? When you tie this premise to a subplot about making firearms affordable to senior citizens at a discount, you have the background for this interesting story. Congrats to Mr. Fleisher on his achievement.

I admire the author skills simplicity and writing styles. Although there were profanities used in the book but it did not interrupt the positive sides of the book. I'm so glad when I noticed this book to be the book of the day.The book is really interesting and has a bit of suspense that will make you to read the book till the end. Congratulations BOTD!
