I am very interested in the topic of gun ownership. I don’t know which side to fall on.

This was quite an interesting read for me. I expected people to want to spend their last days with family but the route the took was shocking.

This seems to be an excellent book. It would have been a great idea to have a watch that can accurately predict when death will strike, mainly due to old age. People will be saving every single dime they have to acquire this watch. However, this happens only in fiction. Thanks for the review.

This is a great review. I think the story will stay with me, and I haven't even read it yet! I'm against guns personally, so I really want to see how the book plays out. The word 'political' in thevdescription almost turned me away, but I understand now. On my TBR!

I am fascinated by the science and technology that were needed by the group of doctors that created this death-predicting device.
I congratulate the author for Book of the Day!

The topic immediately sets of a lot of thoughts in my mind. Would I like to receive a final notice? Would I be checking the watch continuously? I will be reading the book to see how the story evolves around this device.

This seems to be a book with a highly distinctive plot and one that makes a subtle reference to a current political topic. The book employs fiction to bring a complex subject in contemporary culture to light. A watch that can calculate how long someone will live? What an intriguing narrative. Great review

Guns are not my thing, but the issue of whether people should have one or not is very controversial. This story reminds me of some aspects of In Time, where time is a valuable currency. As an anxious person, I wouldn't want to know when my time is up. Congratulations on the BOTD.

That's a very interesting aspect to consider, knowing the estimated time of your death. I believe it is a double-edged weapon, as the novel explains. I think the author did a wonderful job introducing this theory with its pros and cons. Your description of the book is outstanding. Excellent review!

The story sounds scary yet intriguing. The theme provoked a lot of thoughts in me.
I wonder what the different reactions of the people were when they received the final notice.
Thanks for the impeccable review and congrats to the author.

Wow, this sounds interesting although I would not like to know my date of death it is quite good how being notified can help people. There are many disadvantages to this as stated in the book. Thanks for the review. I hope I enjoy it as much as you do.
