I do enjoy books which encourage self-reflection. The book seems to contain a very interesting mixture of stories. Excellent review!

Thanks for your review! I'm curious to see if the ten stories overlap at all. It's interesting how they are each paired with a type of Champagne. I hope that the scene that features gay conversion therapy is against the practice. The mentions of posh food may also require me to look up what they are.

I only read The Treasure of House LeClerc in today's book of the day. I truly enjoyed the short story and wonder if the others tie back in together or if all are stand alone short stories. Congratulations on book of the day.

If someone can make a book about champagne so exhilarating...count me in! Lol. Tales of celebrities and drug dealers and so much more... and everything overlapped and reverted right back to the key point... CHAMPAGNE!! kudos to the author on this piece.. I’m really looking forward to reading this novel.

I love how you've framed your review. It carries the same spirit as the book. This book looks interesting too. A collection of short stories incorporating a diverse set of characters and themes sounds intriguing. Thank you for the amazing review.

The review is great, bought almost all aspect into it. But all those names and procedures went above my head because I'm zero in basics of all these terms.

This review is as delicate as wine. Thank you for the thorough analysis. I don't think this is the right book for me at the moment, but I'll keep it in mind.

I have not read any of Michael Amon's books before. However, the review of The Champagne Tales has given me the appetite to read this book and even other books by the same author.

That's a unique way of comparing themes of stories to flavour and texture of champagne. I look forward to reading this collection.

This book and the tales in it sound gently entertaining as well as educational, considering that the reviewer needed a dictionary for some of the menus described. This sounds like it could be suitable for keeping to read on the aeroplane or in a waiting room. Of course, simply relaxing at home with this book also sounds enjoyable. I am not religious, nor does strong language offend me, so I am sure that I will enjoy this book. The review was certainly entertaining as well.
