Two mafia bosses want to kill the Edwards family, but Jacob from the family gets an ally that might be able to help. It contains a lot of crime, but it also seems to talk about the themes of family, love, and even some aspects from the Bible. Congrats on BOTD to the author! Thanks for the review!

Great review but since I'm not a fan of crime thrillers, I'm skipping this book. Congratulations on BOTD.

I like the intimacy and love between Linda and Jim Edwards, they seem like interesting characters. I love crime novels but not one with gruesome death scenes. Nice review.

"The Last Enemy" by Dan E. Hendrickson. An interesting story book, talks about Maximillian Manerez and Boris Rasmov, the two notorious mafia bosses set out to kill the Edwards family. Jacob the main man of the family is doing his possible best to keep the family safe from danger. The story is full of action, suspense and amazing. Congrats on your #BOTD.

Quite disturbing cover, not sure I like the quality and outlook on it, which immediately put me in sceptical mood, thereby I admit being prejudiced reading description provided in the review, but unfortunately my decision to avoid this book didn't change. Don't get me wrong, storyline, characters and setting are great, but sadly I am not interested to read about mob bosses. Still, congrats on BOTD!

The first thing that caught my attention was the book cover. It's so pleasing to the eyes. The survival of the Edwards would be an interesting narrative to read. I look forward to reading this book. Congratulations on being the BOTD.

This book appears to have an exciting storyline and an interesting cast of characters. As someone with a value of strong family loyalty, I appreciate this trait displayed in the book, especially among Jacob's parents. I'm also glad this book can be read without reading the others in the series. Thanks for the well-written review!

Based on the musings of Max, the first few pages provided an interesting glimpse into what the previous books entailed and the outcomes from the previous battles. I felt it was an ingenious method of summarizing the previous books rather than using the usual methods. It really helped me to understand why Max and Boris were after them.

The Last Enemy by Dan. E. Hendrickson is the third book in his series: The Last Enemy. The novel revolves around the lives of the Edwards family. The cover is quite disturbing and puts a damper on the contents of the book for me.

Thanks for your wonderful review. I must say, this book had me riveted from the start. I felt like I was reading the script of an action movie. The author delivers suspense in this well-written thriller. This is yet another series which I will be reading. I am eager to know how this story develops and how it ends. The plot starts off very well with strong characters. Congratulations to the author for a masterful thriller and for it being selected for book of the day.

This sounds promising. Betrayal and survival are two themes I always fall for, especially when they're well constructed. Nice review.

I don’t know if I will enjoy reading a crime book with no thrilling action. I do hope the book has some thrilling action in it though.
