You did a great job in describing the story, but I can't really see where the story is going. I suppose I need to read the book to find out 🙂

Sounds like an exciting book from the beginning. I enjoy these types of action and suspense books. Thanks for the review.

Your review is well written and the book has been clearly described. Good job.

The second book of the Relic series. It can be read as a standalone novel. It seems to be a fast-paced and exciting read. The artist's murder and the three men threatening Relic seem intriguing.

The mistery in this story can already be seen before reading the book. We all die to know what the man meant by saying 'hoax' before he died. The fact that you mentioned action and thriller without any sex scenes, makes it deserve the four stars rating. I can't wait to read it! Thanks for the review. :)

This book looks like a fun ride. Unfortunately, I don't typically read books that begin in the middle of a series. So, maybe I'll pick up the first of the Relic books and take it for a spin. Congratulations on receiving BOTD.

From the review, this book is so interesting, and it's energetic in nature, with a lot of adventures. This is the type of book I like reading, and I will like to read one.
The story of Wyatt, a lawyer with strong moral against corruption, and of Relic that enjoys staying alone in the wild, but has a hot blood running through his veins.

Thank you for that colorful review! I also liked the character Relic. Very interesting story and a beautiful setting for the book. I enjoyed the legal aspect and the constant action.

Read it while caught in the storm and in desperate need to fill my unexpected free time. Very sophisticated structure, with many twists and turns, a bit confusing at times, but all the more interesting because of it! My sincere congratulations on well deserved BOTD!

"Raptor Canyon" by A.W. Baldwin - Another story with Relic as the protagonist. Relic is an authentic man of the west, he knows the canyons like the back of his hand. He is a decent man in a world full of corruption and will fight to the death for justice. Loved the review. Thanks.

This book sounds like one action packed adventure from start to finish. What interested me was the dinosaur aspect of the story and the building a piece of land on an archeology site. It reminds me of the numerous building projects that have been halted or scraped because workers found remains of ancient animals or human settlements. The bits of information that you gave away were intriguing enough for me to want to read this book.

An action-packed novel with humor seems like a fun read to me. However, from your review Relic who cherishes being alone does not let that stop him from helping when needed which is a good and a trait lacking in many people today. Good review.

I read the preview for the book and I do agree with you from what I know. Just reading the parts I got a really good feeling for the book. I want to know more about Old Man Snow and that lawyer. I don’t think the preview gave enough information about Relic for me to see him as a brave character. I did love how he interacted with the dying blonde hair man (the artist?).

Your review makes me want to go finish the book, and I just might. 4/4 is a great review rating and I am going to add this book to my list to read! Thank you!

Great review! I've added this to my WTR list...thank you!!

Today's BOTD is a standalone fast-paced Relic series novel that's full of action, adventure, mystery, and suspense. The descriptive scenes will pull readers in, making them feel like they, too, are running for their lives alongside Relic and Wyatt. This definitely sounds like one that will have you on the edge of your seat wondering what's around the next corner! Thank you, again! :-)
