The complex character development alone is worth the five hundred pages of this book. I have yet to come across characters that feel as real as the ones that are described by the author. I also like that you provided your own commentary about the book and how you related to each of the characters. I felt as if I was in a college sociology class rather than reading a book review.

This book is a missing little girl mystery and is very interesting, but a father should be able to raise his daughter with the help of another woman just not a rich one.

Fit for mature readers, today's BOTD is a crime thriller filled with mystery, secrets, and family drama. At 500 pgs, readers are in for the long haul, but the engaging storyline, well-developed characters, and twists & turns will keep them quickly turning pages through to the end! A very much chilling family drama book "Pearl River Mansion" by Richard Schwartz, which is focused on family secrets and uncovering of nefarious plans. A cold tussle is there between Tyler and his mother Joan Chandler regarding taking care for his twins. The story appears to be entertaining to me.
