I enjoyed your review. I sampled 2 chapters of the book and it immediately caught my interest. I found it descriptive, yet not too much so very easy flow of reading. I also enjoyed the story setting in Hawaii, where I have never been. I am definitely interested in finishing the book and finding out the ending. I am very fond of murder mysteries.

A private investigator and a lawyer join hands to dig up the truth behind the murder of a New York cop. I'd love to read the entire Matthew Hogan series, especially since I am a big fan of murder mysteries. Thanks for your review!

This mystery-suspense novella appears to be well-written with relatable characters, vivid puzzle solving, and a hint of romance. I think I'm going to enjoy reading this book. Great review!

Most times, it is the wife that ends up behind the crime. Maybe with her new lover. I enjoy investigative stories though, and I hope Randolph's version has an interesting twist.

Your review is amazing and it brings out the narrative so clearly. This sounds like a good crime detective book to get lost in for a while.

Allow me to agree with you when you say that the author did a great job with the suspense in the story. Because I got in the story because I wanted to know what had actually happened to Justin Fisher. Apart from that, I also liked the way the detective Hogan was developed. Great review!

"Investigation may be likened to the long months of pregnancy and solving a problem to the day of birth."

I've always liked crime investigation stories, and this quote articulates why.

I like the descriptive passage you chose. It really is well written. I can relate to enjoying step-by-step investigation processes. It helps the readers become part of the action. Nice job!
