I already like this book. I like the crime (especially the prison bit), the multidimensional characters, and the inherent social issues. I'll check the book out.
Great review.

Honestly, when I sampled the book, I didn't think the story would amount to much. In the part I read, the students were too one-dimensional, and I didn't think they were responding realistically. Your analysis, however, has shined a light on more important things. If the book is enjoyable and manages to discuss current issues from several points of view, the awkward speech seems worth it. Thanks for your review!

A very delineating review about police force and criminals. That, criminals are mostly victims of circumstances beyond their grip. Meanwhile, the police force is toggled with corruption and irrationality of some officers. How these 2 sectors are entangled and constantly clashing is left for readers to dismantle. Recommended for crime buster bunch.

I find this book to be interesting with the similarities of what’s happening in today's world. I like how the author gives a voice to the criminals so the reader can understand their point of view too. This sounds like an engaging read. Thank you for your thorough review.

Unless the good cop stops the bad cop, there are no good cops. I like how we get both the perspectives of the criminal and the police in this book. It helps us explore both mindsets equally. I'd love to read this.

It's really hard to fight corruption when you are working with bad people and when I think about the police institute dealings, I always echo words of one police officer" The police department is the most sinful department in all governments". Thanks for the informative review and congrats on BOTD

Already read this book and loved every single minute of it! Excellent writing, awesome storyline, detalisation and psychologically believable character development. Some may find it a bit too graphic in violence, but I think it was approved by plot. My most sincere congrats on the BOTD!

This seems like a thrilling crime novel, and timely too with the current black lives matter movement. It is always important to take into account both sides of the story. Congratulations on the BOTD.

I really don't care for police novels so I won't be reading this. Nevertheless, I'd like to wish a hearty congratulations to the author on his achievement.

This book look very interesting. I'll surely be reading it to know how the former detective turned criminal get out of the trouble he found himself in. Thanks for the review.

The author seems to have done a good job making the characters multi-dimensional – I love books with great characterisation. This seems to be a very insightful look into very pertinent issues in our society today. Thanks for the great review!

This sounds like an exceptionally relevant and gripping crime thriller. I like that the story is told from all perspectives, good and bad, so the story is well-rounded and balanced, and the characters are multifaceted. Thanks for the great review!
