Great review. This is up my alley and I can’t wait to read it. I can’t wait to read about Nick and see how he figures these cases out. It’s sad that these sensitive topics are really occurring in the world.

The synopsis on Amazon intrigued me to begin with, but beginning your review with this makes me truly want to read it.

RayRuff wrote: 01 Apr 2021, 11:43The pacing of the story was perfect. The events all fell into place in an orderly fashion. I loved how there are multiple cases in the story. Gradually, we get to understand Parker as a character and how his past affects his present. Many books usually dismiss the consequences of a character; however, the author understood there are consequences when a cop uses deadly force. I appreciated this matter was acknowledged.
Ignoring the trauma people go through is annoying in a book and frankly disrespectful. I am so glad you added this in your review because that is the icing on the cake.

I appreciate the content warning at the end of your review too.
Thank you! I look forward to reading this.

The took characters must be getting along so well to tackle those cases together, you forced yourself to put this book down, then I guess it must be a very interesting novel, it's a must read for me, I like crime thriller novels they are usually very entertaining. Otherwise congrats on BOTD

I love books that put you in suspense and it's difficult for you to predict how the story ends. This book is recommended for lovers of crime stories. You will certainly enjoy reading it. Thanks for the review.

I also agree that the cover is a deterrent for readers. The cover made me think the book was a classical novel or a dull, nonfiction book because of the lack of personalization. However, this does sound like a great book, I do love crime thrillers.

This well-written thriller appears to be an in-depth, thought-provoking novel dealing with causation, actions, and consequences. Great review!

I find the plot to be very dark. It's not something I would enjoy for myself, but it sounds like a captivating book.

Samuel and Ezekiel take out their anger on unsuspecting female hikers. Parker will have a hard time catching these brothers who act and think alike. You did a good job of describing the characters and the plot. I appreciated your honesty in listing the book's themes. Thanks for the thrilling review!

The story sounds interesting. I love action, suspense, and engaging reads, so I'm sure I'll enjoy this book a lot.

At first I was confused, because of the title I mistook the book to be a Christian novel. But when I looked at the cover it told me a different story. Anyways, this book is a thriller including elements of sexual assault, multiple murders, rape and kidnapping. Thank you for an insightful review.

This sounds like quite an intriguing but brutal plot. Life must have been really bad for the two brothers to stoop to that level. Thanks for the informative review.

I felt the same way about the cover. It's clearly self-made with the least effort put into making it. Since you've mentioned that the book contains necrophilia, it's not best for sensitive readers like me to read.

I read and reviewed the second book in this series and it is another book you won't want to put down! I have been wanting to read this one for quite a while. I will have to put this on my want-to-read list This book sounds like it is just as thrilling as the second one is! Thanks for the great review!
