I wonder what happened to Paula and if indeed Grant had anything to do with it. I don't know if Camille can be objective regarding this case, especially seeing her relationship with Grant. I'm intrigued by this plot, so I'll check this book out.

I hope Cammy and Zach are able to solve Paula's missing case. Also, I wonder where her love for Grant ends up.

Thank you for the great review.

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out how Cammy helped her brother Zach in solving the mystery case of Austin’s mother and how will the investigation affect her as she meets the missing wife’s husband and the nosey neighborhood.

The book's title caught my interest. I appreciate your fair analysis of the book. I really like stories with strong female character. But I'm not into romance. I think Cammy's confident to solve the mystery and win the affair would bother me so much. the sunset lane ladies adds dynamic to the story is a plus, tho. I hope there is more thriller than romance. Fantastic review!

The initial tone of the book is not as dark as I was expecting based on the cover. The funny banter between Cammy and her brother, and her interaction with the children brightens the story. I'm intrigued to find out what happens next.

I prefer to read something where romance is not the main theme. After reading this review, I think this book leans more heavily on the romance side than I would like however it does seem promising with the other themes going on with the mystery and suspense. The plot twists mentioned in this review make me almost curious enough to read the book.

'As she spends time with Paula's handsome husband, Grant Clemons, she falls in love and is desperate to prove his innocence. Cammy is confident she can find the evidence she needs, but Grant's nosy neighbor and her group of gossip girls stand in the way.'
I like plot's that are interesting complicated with many challenges to straighten out.

The title "Murder Among Friends" by Linda J Burson intrigued me, prompting my curiosity about its narrative style. It promises a blend of suspense and romance with intriguing characters and lively dialogue. I appreciate stories in the present tense, and despite some grammatical flaws, it appears to be an enjoyable read with a satisfying ending.

I liked that the reviewer mentioned all the details that I as a reader would like to know. Well written review. Although I love romantic thrillers, however, the amount of obscene words and the degree of intimacy make the book not suitable for me. But I see the quality of the story line and the secrets that make it interesting for many readers. Congrats on BOTD

What happened to Paula? Grant certainly seems suspicious if he is having an affair with the detective who is trying to find his wife. What about Cammy the detective? Aren't her actions indicative of her invlovement in Paula's disappearance? I guess I'll read the story to find out!
