I enjoy reading mystery books like this. Maria's life was filled with dilemmas, first, she was fired, then her son was an accomplice. I will like the know how Maria survived all this. Nice review!

I am an avid lover of mystery books, and judging from the tone of this review, this book is an emotional roller coaster. The storyline is very unique, and the plot is filled with suspense. It truly deserved the BOTD spot. Congratulations to the author.

I love books on mystery solving and crime stories, and this book reminds me of Sherlock Holmes. I would love to give it a read and know how all the mysteries were solved. Nice review.

Today's book is an amateur detective story. It seems to explore gender and age issues in an organization, and the complexities of blended families and open relationship setups. Congratulations on Book of the Day!

I can totally relate with the thrill that comes with reading mystery books and this book seems like it's going to totally reel me in. I love this review, it gives enough details to pique my interest, but not enough to reveal any major plot twists. I look forward to reading this book and trying to solve the mystery.

I've sampled a few chapters, and I fully agree with Lucy's review. Sampling this book I felt it had everything to keep me thrilled - the hilarious security breach at an insurance company, good irony, some romance, well-developed characters, hard-to-guess culprit(s), and a murder. But Lucy suggests that there is even much more to expect as the events unfold, so I am curious to find out. And it is a book in a series so the thrill will not end at the last page of this book!

"Chief Among Us" by L. A. Noble is an interesting mystery novel full of surprises. In the center of the event is Maria, CFO of insurance company. The book is an ideal combination of murder, tension, and mystery.
