This book seems to have a great background; the place where the detectives are doing their investigation seems to be filled with odd ducks. Mystery lovers will want to check this out. Thanks for the review!

"The raven conspiracy" by Michael Spratt. An interesting book, full of actions, investigation. Agent Williams on the other hand, finds some behavioral lifestyles strange and which that requires special attention. Just like the woman complaining of the devil in her home. Congrats on your #BOTD.

The detective trio, under the lead of Special Agent Williams, finds some behavioral lifestyles strange; an example would be the RC restaurant owner with two personalities.
He observes that the sheriff lets some behaviors slide that he feels worth special attention; an example would be the Latina woman, Catalina, who complained of the devil in her home.
- Do things like these, happen in real life too? Since I haven't experienced it, it sounds very intriguing. I would love to read the book and find out more. You've done a great job with the review. Thank you.

The wide range of strange personalities I imagine must make a great contribution to a lovely detective story!

The only thing I dislike about this overall quite awesome plot is its relation to "terrorist attack", because the topic has been raised so much in the last decade that I believe it is impossible to bring any new light on the subject. Sorry,I prefer to skip, but congrats with BOTD anyway!

It seems that Crescent Beach is a very peculiar town, so much so that the detectives have to get used to its people, its behavior, and especially its cuisine. This fictional crime thriller looks exciting.

I don't have many crime thrillers on my reading list, but this storyline with its eccentric characters may be a nice change of pace. Thank you for your thorough review and recommendation. Congrats on BOTD!

About terrorist attack, the FBI is committed to remaining agile in its approach to the terrorism threat. I would love to know how the author explored that.

It sound like a full-packed story with a lot of twists. I usually like these types of stories in nonfiction books. So, not sure if I will read it. Great review.
