You really captured what I loved about the book. I especially agree with your point about the author's skill in combining different topics. The way cyber security, AI, security, politics, and hacking were woven together felt so organic and not at all forced. It takes a truly creative and intelligent writer to pull that off. It shows how well-researched the book was. And you're right, the tale of Nelson Garrett perfectly illustrates the theme that AI isn't above human ingenuity.

I am happy that the author was able to define the terms and abbreviations used in the book and that it is a combination of many cross-cutting themes. It would very difficult to isolate most of the current events in the world from politics, indeed. I have added the book to my shelf. 84 chapters sound like a lot, though :lol2: :lol2:
Many thanks for the review, @David Chijindu.

The technology can also be used in dangerous ways, such as to spy, manipulate information or attack security systems. Derek Taylor's story makes us think about who controls technology and whether we are really prepared for its impact.

I wonder what the AI program has to do with the title, the Last Ark. Does it have any biblical connotations? Or is it just a cool name? Find out by reading this BotD.

Excellent review, after reading the synopsis I was already interested in this book. Reading this review further enforced my interest. This is exactly the kind of book that I love to read. Elements of advanced science, prophecy, conspiracy. The book sounds like it will definitely match my tastes.

Your response is quite thoughtful and organized as well, nicely summarizing The Last Ark: Lost Secrets of Qumran and noting its strengths and weaknesses. You praise the author’s imagination in combining AI, cybersecurity and politics at the same time as observing the pacing and character development of the book. Your criticism of an ambiguous escape of Nelson Garrett adds an interesting layer of analysis. Your observations strongly warrant the 5-star rating! In general, I think your review is engaging, clear and balanced.
