The book seems exciting and intriguing. I also like that the events described in the book were inspired by real murders that happened in the author's native town. It will be interesting to read this book. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Unfortunately, I will have to skip this book, since it is completely not my cup of tea to read stories related to mental health issues. It is horrible to think of the self-harm patients inflict on themselves, but to know that schizophrenia makes them contemplate poisoning their entire family is so much worse. Sorry and congrats!

As I started reading a sample, it seemed like the book consists of different stories; however, it piqued my interest to learn that there's a thrilling way in which all the characters are connected. I'm curious to see how it all turns out.

Small towns are often interesting places, and in most of them it is true that rumors spread amazingly fast. I am curious to read about the small town life of Harper. In addition, if the author is really able to create pictures in my mind with his writing as you say, I am going to love this book. Thank you for the intriguing review!

Mike Thorne's narrative style drew me in and made me feel as though I were living the characters' lives. The author's skill in description made everything seem so real, and the complex relationships between them had me wondering.
I believe in something greater than myself.

The portrayal of Harper as a town filled with rumors and a rising crime rate adds a layer of suspense to the narrative, creating an intriguing backdrop for the characters' interconnected stories. The quick-paced search for Peter Dewberry and the dark undertones of Brad's contemplation contribute to the book's gripping storyline. Nice review.

In search of his son’s bike, Peter enters the dark parts of his town, Harper. His disappearance causes an uproar. Drug issues linger in the town, and the crime rate is high. What happened to Peter? It’s interesting how the author ties multiple characters to a single point. This book is an intense crime thriller. You have written a really good review that got me intrigued enough to read this book.

Michael's review makes me excited to read more of Harper's Bizarre. I love a good crime mystery and the small town setting appeals to me as well, having grown up in a small town in the south.
I look forward to the rich descriptions and alternate communications styles detailed on the review.

One of the things I love about this book is the author’s descriptions. He creates pictures in your mind as you read, which prevents any abstractness while reading.
- The best way to enjoy a book is by imagining the characters and their actions in your(the reader's)own way, and the author seems to have accomplished that. An exemplary review. Thank you.

Strange things happen at Harper. A man leaves in the middle of the night and does not return. This book has very good descriptions and promises a lot of mystery. What is really happening in this place? Great plot and fabulous characters #BOTD
