This was a stellar review, it definitely made me want to read the book. It is filled with topics that I gravitate towards, anti terrorism, and it's actually set in a country adjacent to my home country. It sounds like the unique layout of the chapters further enhances the experience. I will definitely add it to my must read pile.

In any other time, I might have found this book interesting; to be precise, at a time of peace, it would not have been amiss to read and never forget what war does to people. But considering the current state of matters in Europe and the continued reports of war cruelty so close, I simply wouldn't be able to stomach more as recreational activity. Apologies, I will have to pass on the book, but still, congratulations on BOTD!

Wow! Crime thrillers are my favorites, and this book seems to be unique compared to some books under this genre that I have read. This action-packed tale blends "military intrigue" and war thrill to give readers an amazing reading experience. I already have a copy. I will look into it.

What is really interesting is that the author delves into Ibrahim's past and how it led him to extremism and terrorism. What will be the outcome of war? I am eager to read.

Ibrahim with his set of followers decides to establish an Islamic state in Brussels. A war is bound to happen and different important characters from different parts of the world end up in Brussels as part of their own personal journey. This is truly gripping war-suspense story.

The author pens a compelling, action-packed story with a terrorist as the lead character. Will Ibrahim's plot to carry out a terrorist attack in Brussels succeed? How did Ibrahim veer towards religious extremism? These and more questions are answered in the book.

I am a huge fan of thrillers, but terrorism does not thrill me anymore. I would have to agree with the reviewer's observation about how extremism develops. Perhaps we are all to blame?

Although I am a Christian I was drawn to this book by this comprehensive review. However, you have used some words that may be complex to an average reader like me. I would love to examine the character development in this book and meet Ibrahim, Mark, Roxy, and all other characters who give it an interesting storyline.

News on terrorism attacks always leave me wondering what exactly is going on in the terrorists' minds to mete out such violence, mostly against innocent people. I see this book attempts to shed light on this, with the spotlight on Ibrahim.

The novel’s strength lies in its nuanced portrayal of characters, particularly Ibrahim, whose descent into extremism is explored with depth and sensitivity. By shedding light on the societal forces that contributed to his radicalization, the book challenges readers to consider the broader implications of discrimination and marginalization. Nice review.

The Brussels Connection by Terence Hamilton is an insightful thriller, that delves into the lives of diverse characters. It seems to offer a large picture that allows the reader to have different perspectives. I like that the author included the villain's backstory. Nothing justifies terrorism and killings, and these must be condemned; but we must admit that no-one was born as a baby that has hate and resentment in their heart. There is a background story, most often linked to pain, that leads to the extreme.

I am excited to read this book and hope to learn something new from it. I appreciate that the author has involved many controversal subjects without taking a negative approach to any.
