A good plot with realistic characters... that kind of did it for me. It sure sounds like a good one. Glad you enjoyed the book despite the minor contradictions. Lest I forget, your review was nice. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I liked the review, it elucidates the essential checks that a book needs to be categorised as 'good'.
The thriller and the plot attracts me the most.

This book sounds very intriguing, although I'm not entirely sure if it's my kind of read. I love learning about different cultures as well as books filled with suspense and well-developed characters, as well as a good treasure hunt. I suppose it might be the fact that this reviewer had to re-read chapters because there were so many players, and I don't think I have the time for that right now. Still, I'll keep this book on my "to read" list. Thanks for the thorough review.

I'm excited to read this book and get to know the character, Rachel. This sounds like a book that has articulated character description! I'm also very excited to read more about Japan and their culture! Thanks for the review of Buried Threads by Kaylin McFarren.

I think the story is interesting and worthy to read because of the strong characters and the suspense. In addition, it also introduces its setting, Japan. Thank you for the excellent review!

An excellent review, thanks. I love mystery books and this sounds a brilliant book. I also loved "Memoirs of a Geisha" so being able to find out more about Geisha's and Japan while reading an entertaining book appeals to me.
