As you said at the beginning it really looks like a wonderful masterpiece, now I have been warned, so the expectation will be less if I read the book. Thanks for your review.

I'm disappointed that a book with such a strong beginning would have such a weak ending. I love a good murder mystery and was hoping this would be one of them. Thanks for your review!

I like stories that are unpredictable. Predictability is boring and I will see there's no point in continuing reading it.

It seems this is a good detective story. I hope the story isn't that complicated. Will definitely read. Thanks Evans.

Having read the free sample, I agree with you that the book gets off to a cracking start. However, having read your review, I’m now unsure if I would want to continue. I enjoy a book with twists and turns, as I often re-read books, but it’s a big put off for me if I’m unable to invest emotionally in the characters. Your review is beautifully written and I enjoyed reading it.

I loved the first two chapters. I still want to read it even if you didn't like it so much. It doesn't have to be a classic whodunit. I've read crime novels in which the murderer is known or at least guessed from the beginning or in which the murderer himself is telling the story. Thank you for your review!

It sounds like this book has great potential! I enjoyed the overall storyline. The crime and suspense are there, it sounds like there needs to be a focus on development! Congrats on book of the day! Great review!

Wow...I was already inlove at first. But then when I read the review of the ending It was a bit heartbreaking .
Never the less I don't think there is any harm in reading and enjoying the first few chapters.

Even though I love murder mysteries, I think I'll pass on this one because of its low rating by the reviewer.

The premise of the book was so engrossing, my mind was already spinning. I really, really would have loved to read this book but after reading the review, I'm quite put off with characters I can't relate to. It kills the entire gig for me. Too bad the book took a sour turn but thanks for letting us know.

Thanks for your review and thanks for the heads up that the rest of the book doesn't live up to the beginning.

Its a shame this book didn't really go anywhere. I really like crime novels but I'm always cautious going into them because a lot of the time it ends up being very predictable which leads to a very boring ending. I like the fact you still managed to draw out the good points before your more critical view. Probably not going to give this book a shot.

The review gives a really good sense of this book but it definitely sounds a little predictable.

I am quite surprised that a book with such potential could disappoint. But I guess sometimes the ideas don't manifest into something more.
