Rasputin's Nephew by Marc Seifer seems interesting in psychology, although the part I found most interesting was the Russian Cold War. This book has a sound plot and is worth the read. Congratulations on being the book of the day.

'Official Review: Rasputin's Nephew' by Marc Seifer elaborates on the science fiction plot of the story. It exposes the salient features of the book. This is the story of Rudy, a journalist from New York, who is caught between his girlfriend and his job. Rudy tracks a tale that connects ESP, psychokinesis, telepathy, and other paranormal topics. Also, human experiments, strange events, more suspicious deaths, and seemingly superhuman people fill the book's pages. Learning that there is an element of truth inside this story was great!

The book seems to be an intriguing fusion of history, science fiction, fantasy, and thriller. It appears to be rekindling interest in Russian history and parapsychology.

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out how Rudy’s life will change as he encounters Abdulla Manu and off this will help him discover who is after his head. Why did he become a target? And what is the is the connection of Russia in all of these events?

Readers who enjoy complex plots with a dash of the occult will enjoy it a lot. Find out who is destroying the evidence.
I write the best reviews possible. :idea2:

On the surface, Rasputin's Nephew by Marc J. Seifer seems like a complex book to me; however, at the same time, the themes sound quite fascinating. I appreciate the reviewer's mention of the sensitive content.

The first thing I thought about Rasputin is THE Rasputin, like in the animated movie 'Anastasia'. At first I thought the book title meant Rasputin's literal nephew, but after reading the review I began to think it is some sort code name for the Russia experiments. Anyway, the conspiracies stories within it is what sold me this book. Thanks for the review.

“Rasputin’s Nephew” by Marc J. Seifer is a fascinating novel that is a sit on the edge of one’s seat thriller, but it also includes technical information that may be difficult for the average reader to comprehend. The main character is Rudy who is torn between his job as a journalist and his girlfriend. Rudy is writing a story that connects mental telepathy, ESP and other paranormal topics. Sadly, someone is going around and destroying all copies of a book that includes all of these topics which limits Rudy in finding past research results that he can legally use in his story. Rudy also learns that several professors that have researched these topics have mysteriously died. Then Rudy becomes a target. On the other side of the world Russia is upset by losing the Cold War and decides to start a war that they will try to win at all costs, and they had Rasputin’s nephew that has Rasputin’s legendary powers to help them win. One needs to read the book to learn if Russia is successful or if Rudy will survive attacks on his life and learn the answers to the disappearing books and mysterious deaths. The book contains graphic descriptions of violence and intimacy may discourage some people from reading the book. The official reviewer found too many characters and too much technical information made it hard to follow and therefore rated the book 3 out of 4-stars.

Thank you for your informational review. I think all of the technical and explicit things would be something I wouldn't care for. Plus, I'm not a sci/fi or paranormal genre lover. So, I believe this book is not for me, but hopefully, many others will enjoy it like you did for the most part. It is good that it was edited so well though.

The world of paranormal activities is fascinating. Even if you don't believe in something like a sixth sense, telepathy or other phenomena, it's still interesting to read about. It's a pity about all the technical explanations, I'll have to see how I cope with it. Thank you for your informative review.

The story is filled with constant tension, action and intriguing conspiracies, the intrigue surrounding paranormal themes such as extrasensory perception, telepathy and psychokinesis, added to the connection with the mysterious figure of Rasputin maintains a mixture of science and espionage with a plot full of twists
