Awesome review. I will diffinetly have to read this book. From the review I gathered that it's about the disappearance of a Chinese artifact. The Mask of Perpetuity sounds to be full of action, with some Chinese history included.

Apparently this is a good mystery thriller, something that I would never miss. Congratulations on being BOTD and I will try this in future

This mystery seems to be interesting enough for those who love this genre. The story is even paced (only read the sample) and the storyline gives the reader, a very basic understanding of who George Melville is, but not exactly what he does-yet. Well written, good descriptions but not the genre I prefer. Congrats on #BOTD!

The mask of perpetuity is a mysterious tale of Chinese Artifact. A short length book with an intriguing plot would appeal to the fans of this genre. Great review.

This crime suspense set in the 1930s sounds exciting. I cannot wait to read the dialogue with his "sarcastic expressions" as you say. Good to know this is only 84 pages. #botd.

It would be interesting how people back in the 1930s track lost artifacts. I love that the author used an ordinary civilian as one of the main characters. That makes it more relatable for me. I will definitely check this book out!

I love the mysterious adventures books very much that take me all over the world. It is a very interesting book talking about the Mask of Perpetuity which was a Chinese artifact. Also, it is short book that you can complete it in one sitting. Perfect detailed review!

The Chinese artifact stolen into the land of the British should be captivating to follow. George, who is the first to help investigate and search for the precious artifact should be ready for a battle against crooks. I hope Mad Dog would give George the necessary backing for them to retrieve the artifact.

Wow!! This sounds like one thrilling adventure riddled with mystery, humor and quite some well developed characters. I can't imagine what George must have been thinking the entire time he was with mad dog. Great review for a fantastic book.

Sounds like a very thrilling plot. I like that it packs such an interesting tale in only 86 pages. I look forward to reading its sample. Amazing review!

I'm beginning to think a good "whodunit" is fast becoming a genre Im interested. I especially am liking those books set in the 30s and 40s. Between the sample chapter and your review, this will be a series I will want to read. Congrats on #BOTD.

I'm not sure I'd call this a "book" at 86 pages, but I'm willing to have a look at it. Mysteries are one of my genres, I earned my Ph.D. studying World War II, and I've taught U.S. History for many years. I'm also a bit enamored of Scotland, so that angle interests me, for sure. I think many Scottish lairds are, or want us to believe they are, a bit eccentric. The book sounds a bit zany for me, but I'm willing to give it a shot!
