The concept of the book is unique. A watch that foretells death and the need for a gun for protection or revenge. The author did a brilliant job of fusing two sensitive topics with suspense and knowledge. Excellent review.

The issue of gun ownership should be given a critical attention and decisive action, given its loopholes that can easily be explored by mischievous persons to inflict pains on others. The end-of-life detecting technology explored in this story is amazing and I would like to know more about how it works and the various reactions of the persons that received "due" message.

"Final Notice by Van Fleisher is interesting book about a watch that could predict when a perst will die and then notify them through "final notice". Honestly, I enjoyed reading this book.

This book really puts things into perspective. What would you do if you knew how many days you had left to live? This book has an interesting and unique storyline. Congratulations on BOTD

I would not want to know the date of my death, but I see how it could help settle estates and say goodbyes. It is horrific to think that some people would kill others during their last days. I like the relationship between Vince and Trudi and wonder what will happen to them. What an interesting plot! Excellent book review!

I read this book during February, 2019 and found it thought-provoking. The author did a fantastic job creating various scenarios of how people could respond once they knew they only had at most 30 days to live. Great review!

I like the idea of a watch that monitors the health and vital signs 24/7, but I wouldn't like it to tell me when I'm going to die. However, the book seems full of thrilling events and it's interesting to see how each person's reaction is different. Thank you for the amazing review

I like this review, especially the warning about school shootings. I agree that this is a well-written action thriller, and it will appeal to readers who are interested in the dilemmas of gun ownership by senior citizens and knowing when a person is going to die. I personally found the sample somewhat too slow-moving and started feeling bored at the transcript of the TV news interview about gun ownership. And I lost the thrill once I read about the death-predicting smartwatch.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting science fiction/crime novel set in a world where a device has been created that can tell a person how soon they will die and this novel follows the doctors that have created this device. It seems like it might be worth a second look. Well done.

A watch that can predict your final days is enough to convince me to read this book. Also, the disputed gun ownership topic is something i’d like to know more about. Thank you for your wonderful review.

Gun ownership is such a sensitive and controversial issue so I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out how this was discussed or treated this book. The plot is intriguing as well, knowing the time one will die is exhilarating and frightening as well.

What an interesting concept. This really reminds me of the short story prompts posted to Tumblr for years, except this one was turned into a full-length novel.

Something that predicts the last days of our life? this sounds like such a crazy, yet intriguing concept.
