Final Notice sounds like it would even challenge the readers own thinking as to how they would react in the same situation. This book sounds like such a good read, because it gives people a portal to a world where they can estimate when a person will pass, an estimate some people wish existed now. Thank you for this awesome review! I am so intrigued :)

This book sounds like it has a lot of layers, aging, gun ownership, technology, crime, and death. It sounds fascinating. I'm one chapter in and like you said, I think this is going to be a page-turner as I'm already hooked.

This book's premise strikes me as being pretty intriguing. The concept of getting even when you know your time is up... Since the dawn of invention by humans, unintended consequences of scientific progress have been a problem. This is an intriguing new perspective on that issue.

Today's book appears to delve into the politics and psyche of a society in terms of gun ownership and regulations. It is both timely and relevant. Congratulations on being chosen as Book of the Day!

I don't know if I like the idea of knowing when I will die but looking at the positive side, I believe it's a win-win situation as you get to put your house in order. I have never owned a gun and I look forward to reading more about that in the book. Congratulations on BOTD.

I'd have to seriously ask myself if I'd eve want to know when my time's coming up; on the one hand, it'd be good to have time to prepare, but on the other hand, I think I'd probably spend every moment I have left crying, soooooo...Idk... But thanks for the introduction; I'll def have to get a copy.

Van Fleisher's choice of taking up the contemporary issues relating to gun ownership and combining it with the very possible Idea of a scientific watch that predicts the end of a life of a human for creating this fiction is commendable. I will read this one. Sharah Khan, you have very well highlighted the key points of the fiction without any spoilers. Thank you for your interesting review. Congratulations on the BOTD!

The book sounds intriguing. You wrote an excellent summary without any spoilers. I look forward to reading this one, just to see the different reactions to the death notice. I never thought of what I would do with the time I had left. Thanks for the review.

This book sounds very interesting. It has a similar plot to a horror movie that I've previously watched. I am looking forward to reading this book, but I'm sure that man's greed will rob them of opportunities. Congratulations to the author on winning book of the day.

Thank you so much for your thorough review. I can relate to so many things in this book. I'm around the age of the couple at the start of the book. My mom is just slightly older than the man that shot the 12 people, and I have a son in high school. I don't personally like guns. For these reasons, I believe I will pass on this book, but I appreciate you detailing it so well.

Wow! What an interesting storyline. It’s crazy the way some people would use the end of their lives as an excuse to harm others. I don’t know that I personally would want to know when the end of my life was going to be, but it sounds like it makes for a great story. I’m very interested in reading this story to hear the way the author deals with this topic!

The book sounds intriguing. With a device that can detect a period, you are left with life. This is surely a must read for me. Congrats on the BOTD.

The NRA is advertising discounts for seniors to purchase guns. A doctor develops a device that can let you know when you, physically, have just on week to live. *Final Notice* by Van Fleisher seems to be about technology, understanding human nature and many other themes that impact our daily lives. This seems like an interesting plot. Glad that this was a Book of the Day.

What a wild concept! A watch that could predict one's death, interesting. People will always misuse certain privileges especially with regards to owning a gun. I would like to read more about the aspect of the book. Congratulations on BOTD.
