I hope Ernie Gravnick solves the murder case. I am curious to know who the culprit is.

Thank you for the great review.

This is a gripping thriller! The characters are very interesting and seem deep. Also, the book cover perfectly captures the intrigue within.

Interesting review!
First, the culprit may be a 13 year old son of the murder victims. Next, the hero, the investigating officer may be involved romantically with the main suspect? 👀 Oh my!
However, with fast paced action, nicely developed characters as well as sharp dialogue; this does sound like a fun and fast read. I think that it is pretty interesting that one character is the daughter of a Mafia Don, and she is the wife of a Jewish man as well as the protagonists mom AND a stroke victim paralyzed from the neck down. Just how much can a person take? I love that she was the reviewers favourite character for her sharp mind and very sharp tongue as well! :D

Gravnick is a suspenseful novel. The plotting were very captivating, and thrilling. I was actually thinking about what might initate the brutal beating of the two couples. Well, it's an amazing fictional novel and I love it. You really need to read it. Congrats on BOTD.

I enjoyed your review! From the book's sample and your review, the book, "Gravnick" sounds like it's very complex with romance, murders, crime, etc. This book should be an interesting read.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting crime/thriller story following a chief of police that must investigate a gruesome double homicide, but someone attacks the chief. The chief believes that someone is attempting to stop the investigation in the most direct way possible. Will the chief solve the case or not? It might be worth a second look.

Honestly I have to say that this review sounds more like a very good summary of a thrilling novel.Makes me think what could have driven a thirteen year old to commit murder. Excitement already filling the air, as you start thinking about the actual behavior that the daughter of a Mafia-Don possesses..I will definitely be looking forward to read and reviewing this book someday.

This is a crime thriller that follows the story of police chief Ernie Gravnick after he falls in love with a suspect in one of his cases. This sounds like a page-turner! Thanks for the review, I love books that are fast-paced with a steady buildup, so this made me want to read the book even more! Loved the review!

I love to read reviews before reading a book to see if anyone has submitted one that tells you juuuuust enough without spoiling anything and your review did that for me. Hopefully the grammatical errors won't discourage me from finishing the book as it definitely sounds like it's right up my alley. I'm looking forward to finding out if Ernies prime suspect, and new friend, is indeed the "bad guy".... looking forward to the read!

"Gravnick" by Bob Herpe is a book whose protagonist is Chief of Police Ernie Gravnick. In the most recent case, he was attacked so violently that he was in a coma. As usual, Ernie Gravnick became emotionally involved with his prime suspect.

This is set up to be quite a puzzling mystery. The chapters are quite short, which should help to build pace, but I did find the book a little slow to start. The OBC review does mention that the pace does build, which is a positive.

'Official Review: Gravnick' by Bob Herpe deals with the intricacies of the plot of the story for readers. It has a vivid and fluent expression. The point that the suspect, plot twists, romance, and intrigue make for a fun read is worth mentioning in the review. I love how the review explores the characters of the story. Also, as mentioned in the review, the level of research that made the writing so compelling is appreciable. It was great to learn that the story is a fast-paced and worthwhile crime thriller!

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to know how Chief of Police Ernie Gravnick' solves the case of a couple brutally murdered with the teenager soon as the suspect. I love reading mystery books and this one is right up my sport.
