The book indeed had a very captivating and brilliant plotline. The story was well paced and the descriptions used in the writing was enough for my imaginations. While I continue reading, I'll like to see how the story would end.

Great review of "A Brush with Death"! I loved your breakdown of the plot and the unique twist of using ashes in art. The way you described the book's vivid and cinematic writing style really piqued my interest. I'm intrigued by Kira’s journey and the dark turn it takes with Sean. Your honest critique of their relationship was helpful, and it’s good to know that the mystery aspect makes up for it. Thanks for the recommendation—sounds like a perfect read for a spooky night!

The plot sounds like the work of a genius. In my wildest dreams, I couldn’t have considered mixing the deceased's ashes with paint to create art. This sounds like an intriguing book.

This plot is very unique and intrigues me. Normally, I am not drawn into thrillers like this, but using ashes to paint pictures of the deceased has my attention. Thanks for the review!

The premise of "A Brush with Death" is captivating and unique, though I am fainthearted and won't manage to handle the book. Paintings are very powerful. Congratulations on being BOTD!

I love Stephen King and Jeffrey Deaver and this sounds like my kind of novel. Mixing ashes into paint and then using it in a picture sounds a bit macabre. Experiencing feelings associated with the dead person must be a strange feeling. Thank you for sharing your review.

The plot is unpredictable and the idea to paint with ashes is intriguing. The chilling effect needed for the perfect horror novel is definitely clear in this BOTD. Great review!

This book feels like a mixture of art, horror, and slightly emotional, Kira's desire to preserve the memories of her dead mother in her paintings feels somewhat bizarre to me

Wow this review will really make you want to buy and read the book now, that's for sure. The scenes I love and there's a bit of confusion for me when it's she uses the dead person's ashes. Personally I struggle to picture that and even wonder if that could surpus a normal state of a person of consciousness, well overall its nice.
