Because I got in the story because I wanted to know what had actually happened to Justin Fisher. Apart from that, I also liked the way the detective Hogan was developed. Great review!
You read the whole book too? I plan on doing so. Love crime thrillers.

I like a good detective novel. This one promises to be intriguing with a fair amount of well-developed characters. I think what makes the plot even interesting is that it about a typical guy who is murdered trying to save his marriage - anyone can relate to this. Thanks for a great review. I've added it to my bookshelf.

Opening the review with a Mao quote definitely made me pick an interest in this book. It has been a good while since I picked up a detective novel but I always enjoyed a good mistery!

Death Inside Diamond Head ~ is a Crime Thriller Book which unfolds how the a detective work was carried out in a diligent manner. It followed the clue like a jigsaw puzzle. It asks the question of who really killed Justine, and where his wife disappeared to?

Intriguing. Well orchestrated plot and characters, some meticulous investigation. A well written suspenseful and engaging read to the end.

I love murder mysteries. I am especially drawn to the process of finding out the culprit rather than the revelation of their identity.

I love a good mystery and even your review left me wanting more information. WAS he murdered? Or was it something else? And where is his wife? Definitely adding this to my reading list!

My daughter literally forced me to read this book, because she loved it that much. I must confess that I did complained quite a bit about it at first, but after the first couple of chapters, I could clearly see why she insisted and no longer regretted indulging her. In fact, I couldn't put it aside, it is perfect and gripping suspense with great plot and amazingly written at that. Thank you and congrats!

I usually love mystery stories so I decided to try and download this. I agree that the description in this book is wonderful, as is the author's use of setting, but the idea of a wife who kills her husband just seems like such a typical detective story. Sounds like a good read though, so I am excited to really get started reading it.

Peeling back layer by layer the facts and the clues is what investigation is all about. The characters look relatable and their work ethic is impeccable going by the review. Excellent review.
