Joseph was a good friend but at this point his efforts to save Oweyn was proved abortive because the evil men were stronger than him. It is only a fool that will say evil doesn't exit.

A ghost story and children's curiosity. makes an interesting storyline. Not sure it is for me but I can see it being captivating for many readers. The author dove deep into some themes. Great review.

Great review which captured the story told. I love books that are different and this one certainly is. It started off with a bang and I read the first few chapters in a jiffy. I'd surely like to know about the adventures of Jen and Davie and their encounter with the ghost of Oweyn in the beautiful forest. This book sure let my I imagination of picturing the story in my head run wild!

This book appears to be nourished by incredibly well developed and easily likeable characters, and I applaud the author for including the theme of family. I'd gladly give it a shot. Thank you for your thorough review.

I was afraid of the ghosts as a child, but now I find them an interesting addition to the story, unexpected twist that can throw a wrench in structured reality. I am intrigued to see what will come of it and thanks to free book can start on it immediately! Thank you and congrats with BOTD!

The book sounds really interesting and exciting. A mystery that connects the sixteenth century with present times and involves ghosts, strange memories, dreams, visions, and encounters with the dead is fascinating. I'll definitely read it. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

I can't wait to dive into this book! The characters sound wholesome and caring, and I like that the reviewer mentioned how the family is a "healthy" family that works together. So often anymore we read about dysfunctional families. I have a fear of ghost stories but am intrigued by them all the same so I'm curious to see how my mind handles this story. Great review!
