The book explores an issue that is very much prevalent in the world today, as the main character attempts to solve a murder mystery involving someone he cares about. It is a fantastic read.

The book sounds interesting and Dr Nolan quite the character. But I don't think I can make any decision on it until I check the book out myself. All the same, I liked your review; it was very chill. :)

His sense of justice— justice is something that is clamored for in this world. Indeed, I would like to know where Dr. Nolan's sense of justice led him. Good review.

A worthy main character? Dr. Nolan sounds interesting. What must have the author written about him to cause such praise from a reviewer? I'm interested in reading this book. Great review.

I love crime stories that end up being investigative and willing to find justice by the author. I find the book interesting although the review is a bit shallow. I look forward to reading it and getting to know if indeed justice was served.

A mix of the slavery and COVID-19 era sounds interesting. The story is relatable.

Congratulations on being the Book of The Day. I can't help but imagine how the doctor would feel after finding out about the death of the woman he just got attached to. I'm curious to see how the whole scenario would unfold.

C/T/M/H has got to be one of my favorite genres of this site, and from your description of the book I think it will hold up quite well. I especially like that it's in modern setting that we all can relate to post-pandemic.

I had to get the book's description from Amazon, since you wrote a shallow review about the book's plot. The volume is a crime thriller and instantly catches my attention. Sounds like a fun read. Who killed our victim?

I tend to watch fictional crime and mystery in movies, but this sounds like an enjoyable read. The characters sound so real. The book address some of the social issues that affect us all. Congratulations to the author. Thank you for the great review.

Though this is a fictional novel, it addresses a fundamental problem in society. I'll set out time to read this book. Thanks for the review.

I faithfully follow the Dr. Sean Nolan Mysteries series, since those are my favorite among E.W. Johnson M.D. books, thereby I already read this one and am in total agreement with the reviewer's estimation. It is a series of creative, intricate and intriguing plots with developed characters who feel incredibly real.
