This book sounds suspenseful and full of drama.Quite the thriller. I hope this is a lead to a more grasping story. I do love this certain genre because of the suspense and scareThis sounds quite intriguing and full of suspense.
It's very easy to see everyone as suspect in this type of scenario.

All I can say is WOW. I have read the book and you captured this book 100% in that review. I was so intrigued to find out who it was. It was like a constant surprise of back and forth and an overall guessing game. I was pulled in from the first page and just couldn’t stop reading.

I like the fact that almost everyone close to her is a suspect. This twist will definitely make the plot unpredictable. Your review has already piqued my curiosity.

:techie-studyingbrown: Lots of suspense in the sample. The review further piqued my interest by discussing the range of suspects and implying multiple motives. This is a genre I am just getting into, and this book sounds like a good one to put on my list!

Well I wont be doing much for the next 24 hours because reading what the book is about my jaw just dropped.. They are all in on it im sure, can we say this woman has horrible luck though, it states as a kid she was abused by dad and it seems that streak keeps going. This is gonna be good . thank you.

Sounds like a mystery novel that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Karen's accident seemed to be a murder plot. But the question is, who might be behind this? Congrats on BOTD!

The title reveals a lot about the mysterious aspects of this intriguing story, and it would be worth reading this thrilling story to know who wants to kill Karen.

This mystery is full of twists and turns and, while slow paced, the thrill of guessing the culprit is exciting. I love that the author doesn't reveal much at once. Thank you for the thorough analysis.

This is amazing. The book is chock-full of suspense and mystery. having an uncertain quality of life, not knowing when one may pass away. Indeed, until we identify the real suspect, we must exercise patience.

Hopefully, Karen can figure out who’s trying to kill her! It’s great that the author describes scenes so vividly that you could easily picture what the scene looks and feels like. Too bad the depth of the characters made the plot slow. Profanity and sexual content aren’t for me, but glad you enjoyed the read! Thanks for sharing!
....and one evident strength from the first page of the book is his ability to thrust readers into scenes by employing detailed descriptions.
- I love detailed descriptions too-tend to use a lot, even when trying to make a simple and quick joke!
....considering her struggles to break out of her evil father's shadow.
- evil or not, any child wants to break out of the parents' shadow and be known for his/her own character. That's why I'm interested in this book. Thank you for your amazing review!

Thank you for the great review. Though I'm not in the mood for a mystery at this time, this was an interesting sample. I'd hate to always wonder who or when someone was going to kill me. I also don't usually read books with sexual content and lots of profanity, but I do like his style of writing. I'm glad you enjoyed it so well.

This is a mystery novel. Richard Rees seems to have skillfully and creatively developed the suspense thriller. I would like to read this sometime. Your re-review is well written. Congratulations on the BOTD!
