Re: Review of Devil Among Us

Post by youri_55 »

The Devil Among Us, by Yenik, talks about a jihadist group that invaded the United States and its ally in the Middle East, Israel.
To commit terrorist jihadist acts against Americans disguised as orthodox Jews, Mossad member Uri cooperates.
With Lara from the FBI in order to defeat the jihadists, the writer wants to explain to the reader the love relationship.
Which brings together the United States of America and Israel. American media and policy always portray Israel as that angel.
A strong ally in the Middle East that must be defended always and forever, and Arabs and Muslims are just terrorists who threaten Israel.
And America, knowing that those who exterminated 90 percent of the Jews were not Arabs or Muslims, but rather the Nazis and Hitler, but on the contrary.
When the Jews were briefly displaced from Europe in the 1920s and 1930s and on their way to the Middle East, the ones who welcomed and embraced them were the Arabs.
The conflict began between Israel and the Arabs when Britain handed over the land of Palestine to Israel. At that moment, the conflict began and will not end until the Palestinians are annihilated.
Or exterminate the Jews
The main reason for the establishment of these groups is not terrorism, but for self-defense, dignity, injustice, monopoly, and defense of the land.
The reason for the emergence of the Al-Nusra Front is not terrorism, but rather because of the terrorism and injustice of the Syrian regime, which killed the Syrian people and displaced them to the countries of the world.
These organizations will not end as long as some illegitimate regimes exist in the Middle East because America and the West believe that they are fighting terrorism.
They are fighting these organizations and one day they will end, and I tell them these organizations will not end as long as injustice exists in our world in which we live.

This is a timely and relevant plot as it involves Israel and the US. Uri and Lara are a powerful duo as they try to prevent further terrorism in the community that will cause massive damage destruction and death.

"Devil Among Us" by Jack Winnick is the second book in the Lara and Uri series. It's about an investigation into a suicide bombing at a synagogue in New York. The FBI and Mossad team up to uncover the truth and stop a larger threat. The story is action-packed with lots of twists and surprises. It's more focused on Lara's fieldwork this time. Overall, it's a thrilling sequel with elements of other genres and a threat against Israel. This is the third time I have seen Lara and Uri’s adventure. Maybe it's time I pick it up.

I really enjoyed reading your review! I’m very in to spy thriller type books so putting this on my need t read list for sure. I also like that you mentioned there is a little romance involved being a hopeless romantic myself that always drives my interest. It would be a very interesting time to read this book with the current events and Israel themselves being in a present war. Thank you for sharing!

I liked what you said that it has a proper ending so that we can read it as a standalone story, The review is detailed and well-written and I enjoyed reading the review, although I am not fond of crime and mystery books this sounds interesting. Thank you.

Lara and Uri are cool and collected characters, and I love what Jack Winnick has done regarding their character development. The side characters are well developed as well. Thanks for the review!

“Devil Among Us” by Jack Winnick is another thriller with plenty of Lara and Uri action. Book 2 out of 5 and it is a well written fictional book about terrorist attacks against Jews in America. This story takes place in New York where bombs are detonated in a Synagogue during services and hundreds of innocent Jews are killed and injured. The suspects were in the Synagogue but the group responsible are Islamic terrorists. Is Iran behind this with a plan to attack Israel? I highly recommend members read this international thriller and Jack’s other four books.

It looks like an interesting book to read but I think I will avoid it due to the extreme violence in the book. Thank you for the review!

'Official Review: Devil Among Us' by Jack Winnick provides readers with solid and useful information related to the story. The readers get a thorough knowledge of the book's content. The point that the story is full of action with Lara and Uri often risking their lives while trying to uncover a terrorist plan that involves many extremists is worth mentioning in the review. Another point worth readers' attention is that Lara and Uri find themselves at the center of a complex plan against the USA and Israel. I loved knowing that the story had a proper ending. Also, as mentioned in the review, the author includes the members of different organizations that are the enemies of the USA and Israel in a story full of twists, surprises, and revelations. It was great to learn that the book turned out to be much more than a spy thriller, and it is developed with elements that belong to other genres!

Devil Among Us by Jack Winnick sounds like a rollercoaster of suspense. The characters' evolution, especially Lara's shift to a field agent, intrigues me. I'm excited to delve into this gripping spy thriller.

A spy thriller reflecting current events is just the kind of book I want to curl up with, over this holiday weekend. Plus, it's a sequel but can be read as an independent book, so no threat of cliffhangers!!! Voila, just the kind of book that I need!! Thankyou for the wonderful review!!

Jack Winnick's fictitious story "Devil Among Us" centers on agents Lara and Uri as they work to investigate a suicide bombing case.
There is a lot of action and mystery in it, which keeps readers wondering what the real reason for the crimes is. Despite the fact that it contains many action scenes and terrorist acts, I believe it is extremely instructive to have a fictional story that is so close to reality because it offers each of us an alternative perspective on the world and the political and security figures who are involved in making important decisions that affect the citizens.
When there is a mystery around secrets and dangerous criminal groups, it becomes even more fascinating and captivating.
Great review! Congratulations on BOTD!I
