This is a great review! I’m a little on the fence about this one. Not sure about the graphic violence. I may check it out and skim the graphic scenes.

Wow, this book sounds thrilling! Though graphic violence and gore do not appeal to me, John holding his own against terrorists, Homeland Security and a presidential candidate has piqued my curiosity.
There is more treasure in books than in all the pirates’ loot on Treasure Island!

I'm grabbing popcorn while reading your review.

I am not into war genre and the killing machine is scaring me.

I don't think this book is for me as war in any form is not my favourite topic. Though the review is very enthusiastic, the book sounds like a very fast paced war thriller and I'm sure a lot of people will find it extremely interesting.

This sounds like an amazing book. I can't wait to read it. I feel like it is going to be a mix of The Untouchables and American Sniper.

A killing machine? My interest is officially spiked. Nice review.

Your review made this book sound interesting, but with the 'graphic violence and gore' tells me this book isn't for me. I love your description of the characters especially the 'self-important psychopath convinced he will be the next president of the United States,' it made me giggle.
