This book touches on a very sensitive subject --- gender and sexuality. When it involves children, it becomes more sensitive. Well, I don't have any contributions to make, as I try to stay away from such sensitive conversations.

I love mysteries and how they seem to carry us into another world. In this book, the author tried to do the same and reading the review, I believe they were successful. Congratulations on the RP, and best wishes for future projects.

Certainly! Here’s the revised version of the review for “Plausible Liars” by Lin Wilder, with any potential plagiarism removed:

“Plausible Liars” by Lin Wilder is a captivating medical drama that draws inspiration from real-life events and explores the complexities of transgenderism. Let me provide you with a personalized review based on the available information:

Dr. Lindsay McCall, the novel’s protagonist, grapples with transgender politics and finds herself embroiled in a provocative and challenging situation. Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist Kate Townsend, known for her controversial articles on the risks and impact of gender transitioning, also plays a central role. The narrative introduces readers to Joey Carmichael, a transgender teenager who befriends Dr. McCall’s daughter, LJ, and her unique friend, Morgan.

As the plot unfolds, indictments for unintentional murder are filed against best friends Lindsay and Kate, thrusting them into a dangerous conspiracy orchestrated by the US Department of Justice. Both sides present compelling arguments, and the courtroom drama takes unexpected turns.

Author Lin Wilder seamlessly weaves detailed medical research into the narrative, portraying transgenderism diversely and plausibly for each character. Themes of social relationships, stereotypes, emotions, courage, justice, and faith resonate throughout the story. The meticulous attention to detail and well-developed characters make this novel both thought-provoking and educational. I highly recommend it to readers who are open to having their beliefs challenged .

In summary, “Plausible Liars” combines medical mystery with a gripping courtroom drama, offering an intriguing blend of innovative research and a complex legal scenario. If you appreciate thought-provoking fiction, this book is definitely worth exploring! 📚🔍

This book addresses the sensitive topic on gender change in young teens. The fact that both sides of the issue are considered gives a more wholesome idea of the issue. Congrats to the author on botd!!

What a tough question: Should children be allowed to choose their gender? And, how can children and parents foresee the consequences of changing one's gender at such a young age? This marvelous reading journey will take us through a story that illustrates just that.

Personally, I don't support transgender both for children and adults. It's alarming how this transgender stuff keep increasing everyday. Regardless, I congratulate the author for winning BOTD with this book.

I am sorry to say, but I absolutely hate everything related to the word "medical". It is a given to begin to dislike it with a prolonged stay in the hospital, especially if it is because of your sick child. Therefore, sorry, but despite your generosity, I prefer to skip the book.

A very interesting debate. Who is responsible for the children's rights? Traditionally, it has been the parents, and the state if the parents have been deemed to be abusive. Teachers, coaches, friends, clergy, social workers, and psychologists can all play a role in providing a child moral support and direction. The child will often get caught between different opinions. I have the feeling that this book examines all of the issues fairly. I am intrigued. This book is on my list to read.
