I had my phase of interest in mafia clans related pop-culture several years ago, read lots of literature and watched many movies, but wasn't hooked and it passed quickly. Granted, as a psychology fan, I was more intrigued by their traditions and interactions as a group, then crime history, and yet I am drawn to this book with the promise of a "complex plot with deep characters".
