Kate seems to have a huge problem to deal with and it's sad she is unaware. I would love to find out how she handles the smugglers' wives.

The title of this book is one of those that has me thinking the book will be about something different. However, on understanding more of the story, the title begins to make perfect sense as the wives are out for revenge. I like the setting around the couple's wedding when they are already separated by distance.

Romance isn't my thing, but I'm drawn to suspenseful plot. I appreciate well-rounded and compelling characters. In this story, the vengeful trio seems like the main character. The characters' emotional struggles add depth to the engaging narrative. Thank you for a well written and comprehensive review.

The point that the book explores the themes of revenge, loyalty, and justice is worth mentioning in the review. Readers will find a masterful blend of romance and suspense in the story. Also, as mentioned in the review, it is a thriller infused with emotional and moral complexities. Learning that this is a good psychological drama was nice!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting crime story following Lou Gault and Kate O’Grady, two spies, that fall in love but when a mission goes wrong, it will strain their relationship. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

I'm delighted with your review, which indicates an entertaining yet educative story. The sampling was intriguing. Novels with mystery, suspense, and romance combined are always appealing. I'm interested in how Kate and Lou used their investigative skills to outwit the three ladies. You seem to have enjoyed "Howl of the Banshee." I hope the targeted audience will, too.

The way the mix of thriller and romance was explained, I'm definitely interested. I have found it difficult to find books that can masterfully intertwine two genres and this sounds perfect. I have added this to my list and can't wait to dive in.
