Thank you for the honest and detailed review. Based on this review I can say that this is definitely not the book for me. However, I've only read this review prior to sampling the book. And I must agree with you on all the technical jargon, it is entirely over my head. Which impeded my ability to enjoy the book. I'm glad to see I was not the only one lost. Unfortunately this is just not my cup of tea.

This sounds very intriguing!! Although I'm a bit concerned about the scientific part in the book, as I'm not fond of too many scientific details, I'm still quite interested in reading it, as there are just so many interesting aspects. Thanks for a detailed review. Congrats on BOTD and thanks for the free book.

Definitely not my cup of tea, not just because the subject of oaranormal doesn't interest me, but also due to an exceptionally low Average Rating: 2.8 out of 4. No offense meant, I am thankful to get the book for free anyway, but it is doubtful I will ever read it.

Thank you for your honest review. I sampled some pages and decided that I must pass due to the subject of the occult in this book.

I want to congratulate the reviewer for finishing the book and delivering a great review. It’s clear the reviewer worked through a lot of technical terms, many characters, and thrilling moments and made it fine at the end. Thanks to this review, I’m now interested in the book, despite its explicit violence and intimacy. Well done!

I like how you convey the excitement and intrigue while also acknowledging that the technical aspects were a bit challenging to follow. This balance gives readers a good sense of both the strengths and the complexities of the book. Great job!

I've heard of Rasputin and Russia's czarist history from the animation Anastasia, so I'm quite intrigued by this topic, especially the paranormal aspects. I wonder who is killing the psychic professionals and how Rudy fits into all of it.

This seems like quite an interesting book. The storyline seems gripping and exciting. However, I wish the author had explained the more technical terminologies in the book. This would have greatly enhanced readers comprehension of the technical bits.

This seems like a book stuffed with a whole lot of ideas. Rudy is tracking a story that connects ESP, psychokinesis, and mental telepathy, eventually developing into something more mysterious. He later becomes a target for assassination. Imo, a young medical doctor working on the unconventional. This book promises adventure, and I hope to finish it soon. Congrats on being Book of the Day! Wonderful review too, by the way!

I read the sample and really got into the story. I love paranormal topics, ESP, telekinesis, etc.; and even though the reviewer warns about too much technical material, I have already downloaded the book, so I'm sure I'll finish reading it. Actually, the title Rasputin's Nephew was enough to hook me. I've read a lot about the Romanovs and how this sinister, mysterious character played a major role in their downfall. The book starts out like a Dan Brown novel, so hopefully it won't disappoint.

I'm not a fan of paranormal novels but the fact that there might be some truth tucked into the story has piqued my interest. Congratulations on BOTD and I wish Rudy success on his adventures.

Journalist Rudy is researching topics of ESP, psychokinesis, and other paranormal topics. Someone out there is aiming to destroy the first edition of books containing these topics. Suspicious deaths and human experiments add another layer of intrigue to this story.

Today's book of the day has an intriguing and suspenseful storyline. Who could be destroying the first edition of this book and why? I found this story very amazing. Congrats to the author on being the #BOTD!
