One of the thing I liked about this book is the way the author addressed racism in America from different perspective. Great review

The premise of this book is really interesting. I feel like it takes a new take on a racial synopsis, and has something new to offer for its readers. Great review.

Thank you for your insightful review! With well-developed scenes and topics of race, discrimination, stereotypes, and religion, it sounds like fans of this genre are going to be thoroughly engaged in today's BOTD! Thanks so much! :-)

Mixed blessings by J.M. Muse I really can say by it's powerful theme alone can lead me into impulse buying, I will say that it is such an exciting story that combines racism, politics and religion. And this are issues pervassive in the real world today. It's really an interesting one to read :techie-studyingbrown:

I liked that the author chose to use religious entities to show how both whites and people of color have used religion to propagate racial wars. Muse used the characters to demonstrate how religious beliefs can be both useful and harmful, depending on how they are applied.
Like a lot of things, religion can be used for amazing good or horrible evil. I do wonder what this new race would entail. It's a shame the trip to Mexico didn't get explored more deeply, as a Mexican I would've liked to know more about this perspective of the book.
Thank you for such an analytical review.

Honestly, I love current multi-genre, but unfortunately, in this specific case the storyline how it was displayed in review doesn't appeal to me in the slightest. Partially cover shares the blame for turning me off. No offense is meaning, just my opinion.

A novel that gives a reader a new dimension in understanding racism is definitely a worthy-to-read book. I've been wondering why people across the world cannot accept that they are one family sharing same origin. I think reading this will add something to my reasoning. Nice review.

The concept of a new race that surpasses the rest is certainly innovative. A book like this which showcases several facets and forms of racism must have been an interesting read. And yes, religion also propagates racism somehow so I can definately say that the author has put a lot of thought into this topic.

No matter what the storyline or subject of a book is, when an "author did an astounding job in developing the scenes in the book" its got to be a good read! Thanks for the great review.

I always wonder why some people embrace racism. Racism is more like wicthraft and it's only done for selfish reasons, and those who do it, are insecure inwardly. Good review.

A well thought out review for a very interesting book! As the political/race war heats up in America, I feel this book could not have arrived any sooner. The review made the sample more intriguing and I will be seeking to add it to my bookshelf. Thank you for this spot-on review! :D
