I liked the book because  is based on the story of Lara Edmond and her husband Uri levin agents from government intelligence entities, she from the United States and he from Israel who are called due a terrorism mission, where a hundred people are killed in a food center of Beverly Hills, complicating when communication networks are tapped and cyberattacks on the Department of Defense and Homeland Security collide, also coming into play the following attacks against the banks Chase,Manhattan and the Federal Reserve.Cybernetic security comes into question being a main focus issue today where everything is based on technology. Perhaps the control these devices exert over our lives can become a conduit for transmitting violence or terror, everything and this and more questions generates the plot.

This thriller of Jack Winnick provides us with effective content that has despite being made for enjoyment and based on fiction has real features that make it even more interesting. I have not read any book of the author before however I think he is a great writer and knows how to captivate the reader easily with his entertaining stories that keep us in constant suspense.Police cases are my favorites especially if you have consequential actions and don't get stuck in a simple event, like here involving everything from high-flowing cosmopolitan cities like New York and Los Angeles to capitals of strong countries domestic problems that are the victims of constant terrorism such as Iran and Sierra Leone.

I liked the relationship of the newly married protagonists who deal with small inconveniences of couples who live daily. Both are properly formulated and empathetic and gorgeous. They have accommodating ethical relations and are equally loyal to their countries doing with total dedication their work which is to fight "the bad guys" in this case the terrorist group that attacks the security of the state. The plot is heroic and both fit perfectly into it, especially Lara's female power that, although she receives criticism for being a woman, she does her work perfectly with the greatest dedication to save the most vulnerable.

Although it belongs to a literary series, it can be easily understood as it is a new story that is perfectly understood  for the new audience in Winnick's narratives.

I enjoy the book and i think this story must have a second book that's why I i rate this book with four out of four stars.
It's an action-packed police thriller perfect for any kind of audience. I totally recommend it to fans of this style stories,I am one of them and I am pleased with The Date Farm as it has all the characteristics that I like:  suspense, adventure, sympathy, realism and a romantic touch.
